Are all batteries the same?
That's like asking if all soccer players are the same. Take Messi, the most decorated player ever. Is there any other player who has achieved that? No, just him. Now take Duracell. Is there any other battery with power boost ingredients inside? No, just Duracell. Remember, goats only trust goats, because they're built different. And Messi only trusts Duracell.

Well, hello there, and welcome to WTA Weekly. And this is the very first episode that you've ever appeared on, Amanda. So very lucky to have you on.
And I'm very excited to find out what you think about all things WTA this week.
**Amanda** (2:39)
Yeah, for sure.
**SPEAKER_6** (2:41)
Okay, so good.
So you've been on a few watch-alongs before, right? You've done a few commentaries up to this point. And so the Talking Tennis community might already know who you are. But in case we've got some newbies watching, or maybe just people, I don't know if they exist, who just watched WTA Weekly. You want to tell us a little bit about yourself and Aces and Faults?
**Amanda** (3:10)
Yeah, I'm Amanda. Obviously, I watch a lot of tennis. And I have a sub stack called Aces and Faults, where it's mostly just weekly recaps of tennis, categorizing things as like Aces or Faults. I just did mine for this week, like an hour ago.
**SPEAKER_6** (3:27)
Okay, right.
All right. So I feel like I'm going to start the podcast, start the show with this question then. Can you give us one WTA related spoiler for what's in that sub stack article?
**Amanda** (3:47)
Oh, okay. A spoiler. I mean, I talked about Jessica Pegula and her run and the fact that this is the third year in a row that she's made a final of a grass 500 I just think that's a fun coincidence. I know she didn't win, but she's just so good, like this specific week of the year, every year.
**SPEAKER_6** (4:08)
Yes, or at least on German grass, because I think it was in last year, it was the next year. Last year before that. So, yeah, I definitely think that Jessica Pegula is someone that we definitely need to talk a lot about. I think it would be deeply unfair to not talk about, to talk about her before the person who actually won the final stay in Berlin.
**Amanda** (4:34)
Yeah, for sure.
**SPEAKER_6** (4:35)
Linda Noskova, who is the latest in a long line of Berlin champions who maybe are a little bit slightly out there. Maybe not that slightly out there, I think that's possibly a bit harsh. She's been having a solid year up to this point.
But yeah, I guess, for those of us who may have missed the Berlin final earlier, I may be slightly surprised by the results. Should we be?
**Amanda** (5:09)
Honestly, I was also pretty surprised by just how much, how dominant she was at this tournament, and because she won, she's making her top 10 debut now. She passed Carolina Mokova by 41 points. And it's been a very quietly consistent year for her because I can't, if you ask me standout results she's had before this, I couldn't really tell you, but she's in the top 10 for a reason now. So it was coming. I just don't think anybody saw it.
