What's going on, and welcome to your bonus Casual Gaming Conversation for this week. I'm Nick, that's Jacob. This is your weekly bonus episode from Co-Op 64 over here on patreon.com/co-op64. Jacob, how are we doing this morning?

We're doing good. We're staying busy, man, staying busy. You don't sound so hot yourself.

Nick (0:50)

Oh, thanks, buddy. Yeah, I... Today is the worst day of the sickness, which really sucks because I'm supposed to be on two shows today. We'll see if I stream tonight. I would say if I stream, it's a miracle. But we need to get through these two podcasts real badly, trying to get back on track with a lot of what we're doing here at Co-Op 64

I feel real bad and it's a review season and it's not going to stop. It's fully review season. My ass is going to live on that couch for the next month or so.

And it all just leads into GTA 6 where I'm just gaming, dude. Just gaming. I like to Metro Witcher. Where do you get that, John?

Jacob (1:30)

Dude, every time I've worn this in a video or something, I get so many comments about it. I think Alana's got it for me. It's even got like cool stuff on the back, too.

Nick (1:41)

I have so many video game t-shirts at this point, right? That now I have like three or four banters left. You know, this Arcade Fire shirt when I was like 16 years old and also like probably 40 pounds lighter.

Like I was I was a skinny, skinny kid when I was younger. I'm still a skinny lad, but I was I was skin and bones back then. So the arms are a little tight. I've had this is like it feels retro in some ways where I'm like, man, the only reason I'm putting this thing on is just because it reminds me of simpler times. But you want to know what it was a simpler time, Jacob, a time before Wolverine, which is what we're going to be talking about today.

Wolverine's spoiler cast, our thoughts, our opinions about Wolverine with no spoiler walls up or tearing those things down. So if you've not been Wolverine, get out of here. Go bye bye. Or if you're someone that's like, I'm not going to play Wolverine. I just want to hear about all the story beats and all this fun narrative stuff. You can stick around.

I am normally like so pro, like don't watch a spoiler cast unless you be in the game. I think there's a lot of people in our audience that are going to listen to this being like, I'm not going to ever be Wolverine from what I've heard.

I wish I could be more like, yeah, like, yeah, like I don't even think there's that much to steer clear from, to be honest. Like if I like we'll get into it, but like there's a couple of things, but like, I mean, I just I, you know, ain't ain't much.

Nick (3:20)

Yeah, I feel like this whole spoiler cast, which might end up being a little bit shorter, we might normally a spoiler cast for us. Jacob goes anywhere for like an hour. Sometimes we've gone up to two hours. I'm like, we're going to be in and out of this thing in 45 minutes. There's just so little to discuss here.

And I think that's what's... I just, before we jump into everything, I'd be honest, when you text me about it, so I just recently put out my YouTube video about Wolverine, and I was like, cool, man. I was like, we're closing the Wolverine chapter here. I was like, this is the last Wolverine thing I'm putting out, and I'm moving on. And then I got your text. I'm like, God dang it, Nick.

Until we get to goadie season and all the Wolverine fans go, when they're like, why isn't a game?

When it's not nominated?

Nick (4:10)

Yeah.

If this game does get nominated for a game of the year, I will legitimately eat a shoe. Like, I will. I don't know what I would do. Like, it would be it would be not zero percent.
