Having uncontrolled eosinophilic esophagitis or EOE can mean you're stuck in many ways, like cutting your food into tiny pieces.

Or stuck chewing food for a long time. Dupixant dupellumab, a prescription medicine for patients one year and older weighing at least 33 pounds can help with that. It's a breakthrough treatment that can reduce inflammation in the esophagus and improve swallowing. How about this? Dupixant is not a steroid. It proactively treats EOE so you can get ahead of it.

Severe allergic reactions, including skin reactions, can occur. Get help right away if you have trouble breathing or wheezing or swelling of your face, mouth, tongue or throat. Tell your doctor of new or worsening joint aches and pain or a parasitic infection or asthma. Don't change or stop other treatments without talking to your doctor.

Yes, and Will Faulkner from Fox Footy joins us. The trade period is underway, which usually means about a week of nonsense, and then a frantic couple of days of deals. Will, is it gonna be like that this year? Welcome.

Will Faulkner (1:51)

Thank you, Duff, thank you for having me. We've been off to a pretty quick start.

So far today, obviously things opened this morning here in the Eastern States, and Jesse Hogan was one of the first, well, the first trade to go through. So he went through to Collingwood from GWF for PIC 75, and then it sounds like Scott Pendlebury's deal to Gold Coast will go through very, very soon for PIC 65 So the pie is parting with a late PIC and getting one back of their own from Gold Coast. But a little bit of a hotter start than what we had last year, Duff?

Mark Duffield (2:23)

Now, let's talk about Jesse Hogan. Now, the Giants were absolutely open to letting him go and explore his options elsewhere. What exactly has happened to Jesse Hogan in the last 12 months? Because in February last year, Jesse Hogan was the star of West Australia's state of origin match against Victoria, and then he's barely played. Is it body or is it mind that's holding Jesse back?

Will Faulkner (2:51)

I think there's probably a mixture of a few things. He had a very badly fractured singer, which ended his season around the mid-year mark. So he wasn't on field. He probably felt a little bit disgruntled with that, as most players would be. And a lot of reports were coming out around May and June that Hogan and the Giants were very, very close to signing it, like negotiating a two-year deal and having him sign on the dotted line. And then all of a sudden that just stopped. Hogan wasn't at the club. He was barely at the club for the last four or five weeks of the season. Now, as you know, he wasn't playing, but I think he probably just felt like he wanted a fresh start. And, you know, he's now been... He's been at three clubs. He's just joined the fourth club in Collingwood. He's sort of been someone who's never really stayed at the same place for the majority of his career. So I think he's probably best for both clubs in this instance, but from Collingwood's perspective, he's certainly looking at a glass half full.

He's the Collingwood medallist from two years ago in 2024 And as you said, played very, very well for WA earlier this year in state of origin.

There's a lot to like there for Pipe fans.

Mark Duffield (3:57)

Do you think Jesse Hogan has good football left in him?

Will Faulkner (4:02)

If he can stay fit and on the park, and that's probably becoming a bit of a big if, just given his age. Absolutely. He's the prototype of what Collingwood are looking for. They are desperate for a key forward. They haven't really had one at five for them for a little while now, with the exception of DMX Day at the back half of this year. If he's fit and firing, his best is very, very good.

Whether or not they see that, we'll have to wait and see. But he's certainly going to have a fair bit of delivery with Lockie Neal and Nick Dacos kicking it down his throat inside 450
