Adam's guest today, Wheeler Walker Jr. Plus the news with Rudy Pavich. And now, Adam Carolla.

SPEAKER_3 (1:35)

Yeah, get it on, got to get it on.

Adam Carolla (1:37)

No choice but to get on Mandate. Get it on. Thanks for tuning in. Thanks for telling the friends. Love that about you. Final album, Pullin Out, by the way, it's available now.

Also, Wheeler Walker Jr. is out on tour as well. But, and let me just play you, I don't know, should we play Fucked by a Country Boy? I'm just trying to get everyone caught up, who may be new, who may not know.

SPEAKER_4 (2:05)

That's a good one to get people caught up in.

Adam Carolla (2:07)

If you hear this song, you'll go, that's what this guy is. Dirty but clever.

SPEAKER_5 (3:57)

Suck my D while I watch the SEC.

Adam Carolla (3:59)

Yeah, made me laugh. Smart. So Wheeler, you have to be smart. And I don't know if you've ever heard CB Savage, the song.

Wheeler Walker Jr. (4:13)

I don't know that. What's that?

Adam Carolla (4:14)

CB Savage is a country song that I used to hear on Dr. Demento.

Wheeler Walker Jr. (4:24)

I never got, I always heard about Dr. Demento. I didn't get that in Kentucky.

Adam Carolla (4:27)

Yeah, you know, things used to be regional. Like before there was the internet. Like when people.

Wheeler Walker Jr. (4:33)

Was it a California thing?

Adam Carolla (4:37)

It was a California and syndicated. But like I said, like, it was basically like, whatever In-N-Out Burger is to White Castle. If you grew up out here, you've never had a White Castle as a young person.

And if you grew up in Chicago, you never had an In-N-Out Burger. And then you'd get together at some point later in life with these people. And they'd go, you never had a White Castle? They go, no. And they go, well, you've In-N-Out. They go, I've never had In-N-Out. And they go, you go, because there wasn't any growing up. So you don't know Dr. Demento because you didn't have that.

Wheeler Walker Jr. (5:13)

I don't know In-N-Out until I came out here.

Adam Carolla (5:14)

Right. Although now they're spread out. I think they moved to Tennessee.

Wheeler Walker Jr. (5:18)

I think they got one. They got one in Antioch.

Adam Carolla (5:21)

All right. Sorry. Do we have CB Savage?

Dawson (5:23)

This is like mid-70s.

SPEAKER_8 (5:25)

We were hunting bears for the rocking chair out on I-40. Dodging bucks in pickup trucks in West New Mexico. It was a cloudy day and me and old Jay was just about bored to tears. But we come awake when a CB break come a-ringing loud and clear.

And we heard this voice that we ain't never heard before, saying, Break one nine.

SPEAKER_9 (5:50)

I'm CB Savage.

SPEAKER_8 (5:52)

Hi, all you 18 Wheeler's. Anyone seen any smoky bears? How about some bear smokies?

CB Savage here. Come on.

Adam Carolla (6:04)

This is 70s humor.

SPEAKER_8 (6:06)

Well, I looked at Jay and I said, Hey, did you hear what I just heard?

Adam Carolla (6:08)

Gave me enough in the 70s.

SPEAKER_10 (6:10)

That's joking up.

SPEAKER_8 (6:11)

It's funny to be gay on the radio. Yep.

Dawson (6:14)

But this song takes a twist that you're going to appreciate it, Walker.

SPEAKER_8 (6:19)

When that CB device come back to life just a-lispin wall to wall.

And that unusual voice came on again, saying, Break one nine again. This is your one and only CB Savage.
