Welcome back to the Daily Crypto Roundup. Bitcoin has jumped back above $80,000, but today's rally is not built around one surprise announcement. It is the market's verdict on two threats that already arrived. The United States crypto bill failed, and the Federal Reserve raised rates. Yet sellers could not keep Bitcoin down. Ad returning exchange traded fund demand, easing oil pressure and a regulatory route around Congress, and the week's fear has turned into a broad crypto rebound. At the time of recording, Bitcoin is around $80,737, up approximately 5.3% over 24 hours after trading between about $76,205 and $80,998.

Ethereum is near $2,588 and up roughly 4.8%.

XRP is close to $1.38 after gaining approximately 5.3%, while BNB is around $760 and up 4.5%.

Solana is near $111.26. Cardano is around $0.22 and Chainlink is close to $12.17.

Hyperliquid is the strongest move in this group, near $91.69 and up about 11.7%.

We would really appreciate any support you can give. The lead story is why crypto is rising when the backdrop still looks hostile. The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act failed its Senate procedural vote Tuesday. On Wednesday, the Federal Reserve raised its target range by 25 basis points to 3.75% through 4%.

A stronger dollar and a United States 10-year Treasury yield around 5% should normally compete with Bitcoin. First, the bad news was priced in. Prediction markets had cut the bills' passage odds before the roll call, and interest rate futures made the Federal Reserve increase the expected outcome. Bitcoin closed Wednesday only about 2.7% below Monday, gained roughly 2.9% Thursday and accelerated today. Markets move on the difference between reality and positioning, not whether a headline is good. Traders sold ahead of two known risks. When neither caused a deeper collapse, defensive positioning weakened. Andrew Melville, head of research at crypto analytics firm Block Skolls, said derivatives were pricing strongly for short-term upside once those risks passed. That does not guarantee continuation, but a break above $80,000 can force bearish traders to cover as momentum buyers enter.

Live positioning confirms that amplification. At the latest check, approximately $238 million of Bitcoin positions had been liquidated over 24 hours, and about $232 million involved shorts. Yet Bitcoin open interest also rose roughly 9%, so this was not only traders closing bearish bets. Fresh leverage entered while the squeeze accelerated the move. Second, real spot demand returned. United States spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds took in $159.5 million, Thursday after two heavy outflow sessions. BlackRock received $183.7 million, partly offset by $16.6 million leaving Fidelity, and $7.6 million leaving ARK 21 shares.

Tuesday and Wednesday produced combined outflows of approximately $746.3 million.

One positive day does not erase that loss or prove durable institutional buying, but the marginal flow changed direction before today's rally. Bitcoin was no longer fighting political disappointment, monetary tightening and fund redemptions at once. Third, and potentially the strongest fresh catalyst, is regulatory. Congress failed, but the policy path did not disappear. The Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday granted a conditional exemption for qualifying venues to trade tokenized United States shares. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is also advancing crypto rules. Those actions neither replace a market structure law nor directly create Bitcoin demand. They weaken the bearish claim that the Senate failure stopped United States crypto policy.

Fourth, crude prices fell for a third session earlier today as immediate Saudi supply fears eased. Lower oil removes some inflation pressure, although interest rate futures still assign about a 55% probability to another quarter point increase next month. The monetary threat is not gone. The Bank of Japan raised its rate to 1.25%, but the yen weakened more than 1% after two policymakers dissented. That may have reduced immediate fears of a yen-funded carry unwind, but there is no evidence it caused the crypto move. Fifth, the move is broad. Solana, Hyperliquid, Cardano and Chainlink are outperforming Bitcoin. Strategy rose roughly 11% to 12%.

Coinbase gained around 9% to 10%, and Robinhood added about 7% to 8%.
