College football is back, so Hilton called on me, the superstition concierge, to make your fan rituals a reality. Need a room to match your lucky number? We got you. Wanna make sure our team doesn't wash your lucky jersey? Ooh, that smells lucky.
Hilton's unmatched hospitality can keep up with any superstition. Even a marching band wake up call at 555 in 55 seconds. Hit it! When you need a team that will do whatever it takes on game day, it matters where you stay. Hilton, for the stay.

All right, folks, somebody I follow on Instagram is Lisa Sutton. She's actually been on the channel a couple of times. She actually spoke at our ORAD event, I think, in year two.
I'm going to read you this question, Cody, because I think it really goes to the heart of the conversation I wanted to have today. So here's the question, and we'll get into the post in a minute. She goes, at what point do ambitious people decide they have enough?
**Cody Davis** (1:00)
At what point do ambitious people decide they have enough?
**Michael Zuber** (1:05)
So while you think about that, I'll read you more of it to maybe give you some context. Lisa goes on to say, in the post, this is on Instagram, you could go follow her. She goes by Lisa Song Sutton on Instagram. There will always be another deal, another investment, another business idea, another level to reach. For ambitious people, the finish line has a funny way of moving every time you get closer to it.
What do you think of that?
**Cody Davis** (1:34)
I would say that you have enough when what you're doing starts to take away from what you want.
**Michael Zuber** (1:42)
Ooh, tell me that. Ooh, I like that line.
**Cody Davis** (1:44)
So you start building a business, and you go for financial freedom, and then you keep on building. There's a point where you could actually start taking away from your freedom if you keep scaling the way that you've been scaling. And so I like to take it back to how I was building my business. I did zero down, and I did a lot of partners. If I kept doing that, now I got to make sure that all of these partners are happy, for one, that I'm hitting their goals, that I'm managing all these assets effectively, managing the manager.
It got to a point where I was free, but the more I did, the less I could do. And I'm seeing that with friends right now, where they're continuing to buy, and their business is massive. But I have more freedom than they do, which means that you're actually giving up life to be a bigger name, to have a bigger business. And so, that's the thing on the ambitious people.
Are you moving closer to what you want to have, or are you building a life based on what other people?
**Michael Zuber** (2:53)
Yeah, you know, this is something I struggle with, and Lisa put it very well. I could never be that articulate. But, you know, I talk about this financial mountain that we're climbing. And everybody's points are different. And Olivia and I sat down eight years ago now, almost nine years ago, on this, you know, where we were comfortable financially. And it drives some people crazy, right? Because again, we had built this game, let's call it at the time, 20 years. We still had the skill capital. We were still young enough to do more.
But to your point, the more would have taken from what we really wanted, which was freedom to, you know, on a moment's notice, jump on an airplane, on a moment's notice, travel to New York to see family, and, you know, go out to eat seven days a week. And that was our thing. And the one thing we got right, at least thus far, is we didn't keep climbing just to climb. Like, what's the point? In Lisa's note, she talked about the goal line or finish line always moving.
And frankly, I've seen lots of people that we would call successful move the finish line one more time, and then they blow up. And that's tragic to me. Like, you worked all this time, you got to the finish line, you did one more thing, and your entire world blew up. Now, the world blowing up doesn't have to be money. Maybe you're there okay. But maybe your family has had enough of you, right? Maybe your family's been waiting for you to be done, and then you just moved the finish line, and now they're pissed off, and they want a divorce. Maybe your kids don't like you. Maybe your health gives out, because again, you're burning the candle at both end, and your body says enough's enough.
