Well, it depends how you look at it, right? If you look at Palpatine, technically, has, if he has maybe not some genetics tied to Skywalker, but kind of, right? That theory of him in a plague is crazier than that. I feel like he's kind of tied in with the plague, with the Palpatine blood, you know?

Taylor (0:16)

I guess so, yeah.

Yeah, and it would have been interesting to see what the Hunfer Ben Solo would have actually entailed, right? Cause I mean, that's like bringing that bloodline back, but. Yeah, unless they adapt, and I could 100, I won't say 100%, but it'd be like 90 something, but I could see them pulling certain components from that story into this trilogy overall. Maybe it's not, I think, bringing back Adam Driver, bringing back Ben Solo, but bringing back some kind of, bringing in the aspects that could be like touching upon what they were kind of going with that story. Rey's on a mission, maybe Rey's doing something, looking for him, and maybe they could reaffirm that he's dead, but maybe they bring, they do something, you know? And who knows, Adam Driver, would they, would he say noted just poppin in as like a force ghost to do in here or something like that? I don't think so.

SPEAKER_1 (1:03)

No, I think he would definitely do that. I think if they don't wanna bring him back alive, him as a force ghost is key. Obviously he could be lying, but Mark Hamill said he's kind of done playing Luke, so he can't really pull on that. Obviously, unfortunately, he can't pull on Leia.

You're not getting forward back again. He barely came back for nine. It's like, who can you bring back? You can bring back Finn and Poe, of course, and I want them back for sure, but I don't think in any stratosphere they as big as a pole as Ben Solo and Kylo. And plus, it's like, if things go well, Adam Driver's gonna be hot off of X-Men playing Sinister, and his stock could be really hot. So I do hope there is a path to get Ben Solo back, because that's the thing with the sequel trilogy, it's okay, first movie's Han, second movie's Luke, and the third movie was gonna be Leia, right? But that was a smart way to stretch those out, where it's like, what, you got Rey, first movie, cool. And then, again, I don't, unfortunately, with how poorly they're written, I don't think Finn and Poe work like Han and Leia did. They don't work like, oh, and for the second movie, it's a Finn movie, it's like, no, I don't think so. You can do that with Ben, I think, if you say, hey, we're bringing Ben Solo back, but we want to save him for Episode 11? Absolutely, that's okay, I get that. That's a big pull for that movie.

Finn and Poe, they're like Lando being in Rise of the Sky. They're a little bit above Lando, but still, it's like, okay, that's cool. We want them back. Unless they're doing some cool shit where Finn's the one that turned in the dark side or something like that. Something to that degree where I don't think they would do that, but that's where it's like, okay, there's an interesting dynamic of, imagine that Finn and Rey start this council together, and as they do this, they both start to see things differently, and then boom, you know? So, what do you pull out of it?

Taylor (2:48)

Do you remember that we were talking about it when The Force Awakens trailer came out, and I think you were spearheading it, the look that Finn and Poe have with each other.

SPEAKER_1 (2:57)

Why are we going back to a decade old episode?

Kirk (3:02)

I remember, I was completely wrong.

Taylor (3:04)

Finn was the bad guy.

Kirk (3:05)

No, no, no, no, no. Poe was evil.

SPEAKER_1 (3:07)

No, Poe, I, no, no, no. I was convinced.

Kirk (3:12)

It looks like that, right?

SPEAKER_1 (3:13)

It looks sus because the shot was with Kylo mind-controlling Poe, right? So I thought, oh shit, did he do something? Why did you bring this up out of all the things to go back on? I was wrong about that theory clearly, but let's see it again one more time.

We're bringing it to see my scene. I thought something was sus going on. Oh, you're a bad guy.

Kirk (3:32)

Yeah, that's what I thought.

SPEAKER_1 (3:35)

I'm pitching Finn, and that would be, again, think about the stakes there of that trilogy, where the villain's not just like, oh, I want to destroy the planet. It's like we see things differently. You know, like it's a civil war type of situation. Maybe Finn's more evil, but I really, or maybe you can do that with a villain and have them divide, and Finn's not a dark side user, but there's different councils. There's tons of things to do, but I do think that like, Kylo Ren is definitely a smash glass option. That's why they could be waiting for Episode XI if they are lucky enough, you know?
