These are the craziest legends vs. rookies moments in NBA history. And first up, watch how Lebron welcomes a rookie to the NBA.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:10)
Uh-oh, that's Lebron James with authority in there standing here in Miami.

**SPEAKER_1** (0:15)
Sheesh, that was filthy. Next up, Donovan Mitchell makes an ankle breaker so disgusting, it's rated R.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:23)
A touch to make that.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:24)
Sohan made it look easy. Mitchell gets tricky as he leaves Sohan in the dust and knocks down the three.

**SPEAKER_1** (0:31)
Oh, put the kids to bed. But it's still not as vicious as what Paul George did to Isaiah Stewart.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:36)
When he catches, he's making a quick decision. Paul George. Oh, my goodness.

**SPEAKER_1** (0:43)
So you're talking about rookie initiation? Well, this is the rookie initiation. And yet, the way Wade is just as unforgiving because in the NBA, buckets can be hard to come by.

**SPEAKER_4** (0:54)
Both season highs. There's Lopez.

**SPEAKER_1** (0:57)
Blocked by Dwayne Wade.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:58)
He flew out of the building to block that shot.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:02)
Inside. That's Lopez.

**SPEAKER_4** (1:03)
Wade did it again.

**SPEAKER_1** (1:05)
Dang. That's enough to give a grown man nightmares for weeks. On the other hand, rookies can also be pretty unforgiving because we all knew John Moran was going to be something special, but we didn't know he was going to be this special.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:17)
Irving against Moran.

**SPEAKER_1** (1:25)
But up next, play close attention to Jason Tato, because he's about to de-throne the king.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:31)
Drives down, that throws him down!

**SPEAKER_1** (1:33)
Wow!
In the regular season is one thing, but in the post season, that's hella crazy. Only Luka Dončić is even crazier. See, it's not often that LeBron James gets humiliated by a rookie. That's him off guard once, that's a miracle in itself. But if that's a miracle, then what do you call this?

**SPEAKER_2** (1:55)
LA turning down a lot of open shots right now.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:58)
LeBron, a cut for the weak side, Luka blocked it twice!

**SPEAKER_1** (2:01)
Hey, someone sent the ball to deliver retirement home. Speaking of senior citizens, I just bumped in to Dirk Lewinsky, and spoiler, he also wasn't perfect.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:09)
Passed up the three twice.

**SPEAKER_4** (2:12)
CJ always spun Dirk.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:15)
Dang, Bro really got caught in the blender, but what Chris Paul did in 2021, that has put the kids to bed written all over it. Nutmegging a grown man shows some decency. This reminds me, CJ McCollum also likes to put others in their place, because if he senses a rookie, he'll drop him to the ground.

**SPEAKER_2** (2:40)
To challenge the shot.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:41)
And stayed off that rim.
Stephen Cenzo tying up! CJ McCollum is season high with 32, and the Blazers lead it by 14

**SPEAKER_1** (2:52)
That said, ankles are one thing, a put back dunk is a whole different story.

**SPEAKER_4** (2:58)
He's falling on bounds and threw a beautiful pass to the bontae. My goodness!

**SPEAKER_1** (3:03)
Didn't see that coming! Yeah.

**Reggie Miller** (3:06)
Tap the top of your head.

**SPEAKER_1** (3:08)
And it was at this moment that the entire world realized that LaMelo ball was dangerous. This brings us to a very important question. Who do you think is our next victim of embarrassment? Is it Tyler Hero or LeBron James?

**SPEAKER_3** (3:21)
Back out Robbins and stolen by James. James drives, goes inside and throws it down.

**Reggie Miller** (3:26)
First points by LeBron.

**SPEAKER_1** (3:27)
Haters gonna hate, but 2020 LeBron was built different. But would you rather face LeBron in the bubble or get blocked by James Harden?

**SPEAKER_4** (3:37)
Dort for three, blocked by Harden. Dort got it back, tried to throw it off Harden and missed him. It's Rockets basketball.
James Harden don't ever talk about his defense again. What a play.

**SPEAKER_1** (3:51)
But do you know who I don't want to mess with? Shaq. However, Andrew Bidam didn't have any choice. He was the 10th pick in the 2005 NBA draft. He was supposed to be the next big thing for the Lakers. This didn't sit well with Shaq. By 2006, many fans thought he would start to decline on the Miami Heat. Plus, a Shaq-led Heat team lost to the Pistons in last year's playoffs, a year after Shaq's Lakers lost to the Pistons in the NBA finals. Sooner or later, fans expected someone to overtake Shaq as the league's most dominant center. But not if Shaq had anything to say about it.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:22)
Williams passed out of three, shoots the two.

**SPEAKER_4** (4:25)
Oh, that should kill O'Neal.

**SPEAKER_1** (4:29)
Not gonna lie, I kinda feel bad for Andrew Bynum. But keep in mind, legends aren't just embarrassing rookies, they're also the ones getting embarrassed. Because remember when I said I felt bad for Andrew Bynum? Let's just say I've had a change of heart.
