When I watch a quarterback like Bo who's had as much success as he's had, I'm wondering if he's questioning Sean and the play calling. What is their dynamic like? What is their relationship like? Are they in those meetings and are they talking about these things? Or is...

Are the conversations not there? And I believe in healthy conflict and I believe in tough conversations and I believe in... I think where Bo is now in year three that he should have a lot of say in terms of what he wants called and what's comfortable. What's comfortable?

What's comfortable? What's comfortable? What's comfortable? What's comfortable? With a goat, we have a goat sighting. Short week Broncos played and won against Seattle at home. Justin and I were both there. We weren't sitting next to each other because, you know, he has way better access than I do because he's played here longer. And, you know, the community loves him. So I didn't get the same seats or invite, but he was at the game. I was at the game. It was electric. It was a great time. Let's just start, man, off with your first initial thoughts. The Broncos obviously get the win first initial thoughts. What are your biggest takeaways from last night?

Justin Simmons (2:44)

Well, before before I talk about that, there is some hardware that you have that I don't have. So I feel like that would give you more access silver wedding ring.

Yeah, that one is that of my rubber, my rubber wedding ring. And do first of all. And before I go into the question, it's a it's an honor to be to be on set with you, bro. I know we've been lifelong friends, teammates. I feel nervous right now. I'm feeling in for Dave. Like there is no feeling.

SPEAKER_1 (3:11)

Go Dave Logan. Yeah, I know.

Justin Simmons (3:14)

I asked I asked I asked someone to get me glasses to put right here upside down. So I feel a little bit more comfortable, but it's not happening right now.

Bennie Fowler (3:21)

Shout out to Dave. Shout out to Dave.

Justin Simmons (3:23)

But dude, yeah, the game the game last night was it's what we expect, I guess, at this point, as as Broncos fans, as guys that cover the game, the team. We expect the defense to play well. And we're also, you know, like grinding our teeth, clenching our hands and just hoping that the offense finds a way to get better. I guess is the is the approach I'm trying to take with it.

My biggest thing is like, listen, there is no substitute for winning. Like there is no asterisk next to a W. It doesn't say ugly win, which gives you like half a win. A win is a win. And winning in the NFL. And you guys, and I said this before on a podcast with Shelby that we have, you guys as in Broncos country know my resume from playing with the team for eight years. We found ways to lose games like last night. Right. This team is finding ways to win those games. And so winning is the biggest thing. So I want that to be first and foremost. Winning is the biggest thing.

Is it going to be sustainable when they play teams like this week in and week out? Hopefully they win the division and they get some type of home field advantage. But if they don't, can they win games like this without the offensive production going into Buffalo, you know, going into Baltimore, going into Kansas City? Like I hope so. The record record, not like team record, but the record in terms of their performance is saying they can.
