We're talking sports.

Will (0:59)

All right. Wait, lead me into that one.

SPEAKER_1 (1:01)

Thank you, Ron.

SPEAKER_2 (1:02)

You're welcome.

Will (1:03)

You're with Will and Ron. We're talking sports.

Ron (1:06)

Right. Good morning.

Will (1:07)

Good morning.

Ron (1:07)

It's like I haven't seen you forever.

Will (1:09)

It has been a while, hasn't it? Yeah.

You look different for some reason. Yeah. It's the lighting.

Ron (1:14)

Did you lose weight? Not much.

Will (1:17)

A little bit.

Ron (1:18)

A little bit, but not since the last time I saw you.

Will (1:20)

No, not since the last time I saw you.

All right. I'm working on it, though. Yeah. So this is episode 18? Yeah. 18 Yeah.

Ron (1:31)

19

Will (1:35)

Thank you, Shay.

Episode 19, Ron. All right. We've crossed that threshold.

Ron (1:41)

Yes, we have. Yeah. Yeah. David Somerano told me one time, he told me a couple of times. I think the average lifespan of a podcast is like 13 or 16 episodes. Yeah. So yeah, we crossed that.

We're probably up in the top 10 percent or whatever of podcasters.

Will (2:01)

Awesome. And I'll thank our sponsors, really.

Ron (2:03)

Yeah.

Will (2:03)

I mean, that's definitely the main thing. So we really thank our sponsors. And Live The Dream. I mean, Live The Dream Media, yeah.

Ron (2:08)

They're giving us the opportunity to be here. Yeah.

Will (2:11)

To be streamversers.

Ron (2:12)

Yeah, that's right.

Will (2:13)

That's right. Absolutely. Yeah.

Ron (2:16)

If they didn't give us this opportunity, then we would have never stepped into that, the stream verse. No, absolutely.

Will (2:21)

And me personally, I thank Ron for getting me into this podcasting world. Yeah. Yeah, definitely.

Ron (2:27)

Yeah.

Will (2:27)

So I thank him for that. And that's all I thank him for. I don't thank him for wearing that ugly jersey to do that for sure.

Ron (2:37)

It is a beautiful jersey.

Will (2:38)

Yeah. Yeah. Lucky 13 Yeah.

Ron (2:41)

Hey, pretty is going to take us to the promised land.

Will (2:43)

Is he?

Ron (2:43)

Yeah.

Will (2:43)

We'll see about that.

Ron (2:44)

Probably not this year.

Will (2:45)

No? Someday?

Ron (2:47)

Someday. Yeah.

Will (2:47)

Someday. Yeah. All right. He's still young.

SPEAKER_5 (2:49)

Yeah.

Will (2:51)

Well, you know, Dak is going to take me to the promised land. Maybe.

Ron (2:54)

I saw a couple of predictions this morning or yesterday, and they're thinking that Dallas is going to the Super Bowl.

So, yeah. Yeah. Just a couple. There was like a list of like 12 guys. They're sportscasters or whatever, and two of them had Dallas, and I don't remember who the AFC was. I mean, most people are picking the Bills and the Rams for their Super Bowl. But yeah, a couple of guys had Dallas in there.

Will (3:25)

It's hard for me to think about the Bills as being a competitive team. I still remember the Bills from, you know.

Ron (3:31)

Well, they did go to four Super Bowls in the 90s. They didn't win any of them, which is crazy. But just to get to Super Bowl is super, super tough.

Will (3:39)

It is. But as I told you, you know, as we were speaking, I don't remember if it was yesterday or not. It was yesterday. Nobody remembers second place. That's right.

Ron (3:45)

That's right.

Will (3:46)

We barely remember first place.

Ron (3:47)

Yes. Yeah.

Will (3:49)

Unless you're a fan of that team. Unless you're a fan of that team. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely.

Ron (3:52)

I mean, to get to four Super Bowls in a row.

Will (3:54)

Yeah.

Ron (3:56)

That's insane.

Will (3:57)

You know what's more insane? What's that? Losing four Super Bowls in a row.

Ron (3:59)

That is. That is.

SPEAKER_5 (4:01)

Yeah.

Ron (4:01)

Being the first loser for four years in a row.

SPEAKER_5 (4:04)

Yeah.

Will (4:04)

Yeah, absolutely.

Ron (4:05)

Yeah. And I guess...

Will (4:07)

I almost felt like, no, I won't say it.

Ron (4:08)

You get a lot of accolades and all that for being in the Super Bowl, but then you're in the back of the draft, so you don't get that good of a draft pick, whereas you're the Cardinals every year, and then you get a good draft pick. What they do with it is another thing.

Will (4:23)

How is it that those bottom teams don't eventually have these great teams with all the early draft picks that they have going, you know? They're just not able to keep them?
