CJ Stroud is so back. Kenneth Walker is still a PROBLEM. Nine 2.0 already has Heifetz head over heels. I can’t stop thinking about Blake Grupe flying, spinning through the air. Lock to hear Danny, Danny, and Craig run through all of the Sunday games from Week 6.

This episode is brought to you by Carhartt. We spent a lot of time talking about what happens on the field, but what about everything that has to happen before anyone can play on it? The grass has to be grown, the stadium has to be built, the goal posts have to be welded. That's the work of tradespeople committed to getting every detail right. And Carhartt is proud to outfit those people, the crews making football possible. So this season, when you're watching the game, take a second to think about the people behind it. This episode is brought to you by Nationwide. Everyone knows that to win in fantasy, you need players that can be so much more. The QB that can throw for 400 yards and rush for a touchdown, the defense that can snag a pick six, or the running back who can also bring in 15 receptions. It's like how Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company. They're one of America's largest financial services companies too. Now that gets the start. For your insurance and financial needs, Nationwide is on your side.

On today's episode, DAC and Dallas have lost their magic. The Rams need to regroupy. I don't know if you guys like that joke, but I love that joke, regroupy.

JJ McCarthy is so back. Caleb Williams is inevitable, says Caleb Williams on Instagram. Jim Nance maybe broke his wrist punching a football. I don't think he broke his wrist, but I do think he hurt his hand and maybe broke a small bone. DK and I argued over whether he enjoyed the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl, and we agreed to disagree.

Danny Kelly (1:40)

We did not. You were wrong.

Craig Horlbeck (1:44)

There was no agreeing on it.

Danny Kelly (1:45)

We definitely did not do that.

Danny Heifetz (1:47)

All that and a lot more after the break.

Welcome to The Ringer Fantasy Football Show. My name is Dan Heifetz and I'm joined by Danny Kelly and Craig Horlbeck. And we are going through all the games after week six of the NFL season. We're going to start with Sunday Night Football. The Green Bay Packers should get two wins tonight, one for beating Dallas and one for beating the referees. Because, TK, what was your favorite botched call in the fourth quarter? Was it the phantom roughing the passer on Lucas Van Ness that undid the interception?

Danny Kelly (3:09)

Was that the one where he just pushed him over?

SPEAKER_4 (3:11)

Yeah, there was two pushes.

Danny Kelly (3:13)

That was the softest one I've ever seen.

Craig Horlbeck (3:15)

Yeah, the reason we know why that happened. It was 23 to 7 in the fourth.

Danny Kelly (3:20)

To make it a little interesting.

Craig Horlbeck (3:21)

Raj made the call, picked up the phone. I think Gadell has one big button on his desk and he gets to hit it once a game. And if he hits it, they're like, all right, reverse that call.

Danny Heifetz (3:30)

But this time he didn't notice it immediately. So he hit it like five times because then the cowboy, Ryan Flournoy, just shoves the cornerback backwards under his ass. That does a somersault, catches a touchdown, not called. And my personal favorite, Daron Bland obviously not intercepting a pass, which you could tell immediately because he didn't celebrate at all.

Craig Horlbeck (3:50)

Yes, totally.

Danny Heifetz (3:51)

Like you could get 100% of these calls right if you just watch the defensive back after the play. And then they do something that I'm positive has never happened before.

Craig Horlbeck (4:00)

Goodell hits the button.

Danny Heifetz (4:02)

Goodell hits the button. They do the expedited replay. They reverse it to the interception. Everyone is shocked. And then they immediately realize that they are wrong. And then they expedite review the expedited review and then reverse the reversed call all in the span of two minutes. I thought the refereeing was insane and honestly extended the game by 35 minutes when they reversed it.
