Hey, let's chat about choosing the best tool for the job. When the pressure's on, you find out what's really built for the moment. That's true late in the fourth quarter of a big game, and it's true when there's work to get done on a deadline. On the job site, conditions change, the clock keeps moving, and the tools you reach for have to be ready to handle it again and again. That's why DeWalt tests its tools under real world conditions that push even the best tools to their limit. Only then does a tool earn the DeWalt badge.

So when the pressure is high and the work needs to get done, DeWalt tools are built to perform, built to last, and built to finish strong. DeWalt, Guaranteed Tough. Available at the Home Depot. How doers get more done.

What's up, friends? Welcome into Fantasy Focus Monday Morning Rapid Reaction alongside Liz Loza. Hello, Elizabeth. Hello.

Liz Loza (1:01)

It's nice to see you in person, Daniel Dopp.

Daniel Dopp (1:02)

Nice to see you in person. Always excited to be able to do the show with you in person. We just stayed here in Bristol, Connecticut and watched an entire day of football with each other. It is Sunday night. It is 8 p.m. right now. Just pulling the curtain back a little bit for you guys.

Liz Loza (1:14)

We're not punchy at all.

Daniel Dopp (1:15)

Not at all.

SPEAKER_4 (1:16)

No way.

Daniel Dopp (1:16)

But Liz and I are going to dive into all the fun things that happen and maybe some of the not fun things that happen in today's game, excuse me, this week's games and just have some fun with this, Liz. And so with that being said, what the fantasy?

SPEAKER_4 (1:30)

Boy, that escalated quickly. I mean, that really got out of hand fast.

Daniel Dopp (1:36)

Oh my gosh, Drake Maye, Elizabeth Loza.

Liz Loza (1:39)

I mean, you talked about having fun.

Daniel Dopp (1:40)

Holy smokes, finally, it looks like this kid is having fun playing football again. First three weeks, not fun.

SPEAKER_4 (1:44)

No.

Daniel Dopp (1:45)

He looked very not good, under 10 fantasy points for the first three straight weeks and then back to back games with over 26 fantasy points, back to back games with three plus touchdowns, 374 passing yards, four passing touchdowns plus 25 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown for 39.46 points.

Liz Loza (2:03)

We love to see him back in that flow state, if you will. We were a little bit nervous to see if we could trust him in this match.

We thought he might be better in real life than people were anticipating. Yet, it does seem as though the positive momentum is working in his favor. Week 6, he gets the Jets. So, I am back on the Drake Maye train.

Daniel Dopp (2:22)

I love that. He did all of this as a reminder. Without AJ Brown, his number one pass catcher is not even on the squad.

Liz Loza (2:29)

Interestingly, Kyle Williams, a third round pick from last year, showed his 4-4 speed in this one. He converted three at three for 91 yards in a touchdown. So, now Drake Maye is spreading the ball around, but it is benefiting him instead of hurting him.

Daniel Dopp (2:43)

Yeah, I am with you on that. Another quarterback that did not have one of his pass catchers, Jane Daniels, also looked good, girl.

Liz Loza (2:49)

The narrative heading into this game, obviously, was very apprehensive because there was so much fear around him potentially re-injuring his elbow, right? There was lots of like, he is not going to run as much because he wants to keep that elbow safe. And yet, he carried the ball nine times for 103 rushing yards and two rushing scores. He was unleashed. I don't think you can sit him. I don't think you can worry about him getting hurt because guess what? I know this is going to sound trite, but football players get hurt on the football field.

Daniel Dopp (3:18)

If he is going to be out there and starting, I will be starting Jaden Daniels because this level of game is exactly what you want from the quarterback spot.

Liz Loza (3:25)

And we got to hope that he is like now back to feeling himself. This was the first rushing score, two of them, like I said again, that he managed since week nine of last season, clearing 32 fantasy points for managers.

Daniel Dopp (3:36)

Liz, this is very important. You probably don't know this, but I'm going to let everyone know the ESPN bowling league is starting up in two weeks. And with that, we're going to have a quick shout out to our friend, Pete Webber.
