Hello, everybody, welcome to the Rotoworld Football Show Thursday, September 24th, 2026, week three somehow already. I'm Patrick Daugherty. There are three of us. I was supposed to say joined by three of us, but there are just three of us total. Joined by Denny Carter, Kyle Dvorchak, joined by a bushel of Fantasy Points, hopefully, a boatload of fun games. Actually, there's only a few good games. Ravens at Cowboys, huge total. Chargers at Bills, huge total. Chaos potential. Jets at Lions. The Jets are becoming part of the huge totals, guys. It's a brave new world out there, except for when it comes to Todd Bowles calling timeout. Still, there's no idea what's going on there. Cardinals at 49ers, Chiefs at Dolphins. We're going to break it all down. Every fantasy relevant player when we come right back after this.

We're back. Aaron Rodgers, guys, not really fantasy relevant. I don't know if we'll be breaking him down, Denny, but he is breaking down the Steelers offense for us, actually, so we don't have to.

We thought maybe we're getting a new A. Rodgers this year, quote unquote. You're no longer so sure after maybe he's posting quotes on Sunday. What did Mr. Rodgers tell us? What was going on in his neighborhood?

Denny Carter (1:28)

You would have thought that teaming up with Mike McCarthy may have put him in a better mood. They are passing a lot more. Lots of air yards as I've written about for my regression files. But no, he's not in a good place.

But he fooled me, guys. Aaron Rodgers fooled me once again by starting his postgame presser and saying, seeming like he was going to take responsibility as the quarterback, as the elder statesman of the team.

Patrick Daugherty (2:01)

As he's never done before.

Denny Carter (2:03)

It was shocking. I was like, oh, okay, what's happening here? Aaron Rodgers is going to say this is on me.

But what he said was, and I'm paraphrasing, but what he said was, this is on me. I should have told the coaches, they're bad.

Patrick Daugherty (2:16)

Denny's not even exaggerating, this is what happened.

Denny Carter (2:20)

Yeah, it's my responsibility. I'm like, okay, okay. To tell the coaches that they're always wrong.

I was like, oh, there it is. Okay, man, for a second there, I was freaked out, but now things are very normal.

Kyle Dvorchak (2:38)

Truly a good bit, though. You have to respect the bit equity of him pulling the one-two punch. To Denny's point, he genuinely seems conciliatory, like it's all on me guys. I'm the quarterback, I take responsibility for telling the coaches to stop calling this garbage.

Patrick Daugherty (2:55)

Yeah.

Denny Carter (2:55)

It's like a few memes, a couple of memes that I can think of. One is, of course, they had us in the first half. But then the other one is the one where the guy's robbing the old man at the car and calling ambulance, but not for me.

Patrick Daugherty (3:12)

Yeah.

Denny Carter (3:13)

So it's just this like turn where you're like, oh man, okay. Yeah. So Aaron Rodgers is still not the best at taking responsibility.

Patrick Daugherty (3:23)

Well, especially for Mike McCarthy. Someone pointed out he never once did this when Mike Tomlin was the head coach. And Mike Tomlin, now our NBC coworker, there does need to be books written on how he kept the Pittsburgh Steelers under control.

Kyle Dvorchak (3:35)

So many iterations of the Steelers needed to be kept under control and he nailed every one of them.

Patrick Daugherty (3:41)

He did. And now he's got the Sunday Night Football crew. They're whipped into fine form. They are cooking with gas thanks to Mr. Mike Tomlin. And if we worked with them, they're all professionals, big time in the industry. They're not afraid of him. We would be too afraid to work with them.

Denny Carter (3:57)

I would be calling him sir.

Patrick Daugherty (3:59)

We would be very scared. And Aaron Rodgers was afraid of him. No one's afraid of Mike McCarthy, unfortunately. No, very, very, very, very, very bad news for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bad news for the Cowboys that they're playing an actual good team this time. A pair of uncertain one and one sides, Denny, the Ravens and Cowboys meet up in Dallas. The Ravens operating is roughly three and a half point road favorites. They hope to get Zay Flowers back this week in Big D.

He wasn't practicing on Wednesday. I'm unsure on Thursday. What went wrong for the Ravens passing attack last week without Flowers? Rashad Bateman did pop up for a big day, but the Ravens, to see here, lost to Tyler Schuck.
