We've got you covered.

Yes, it's the first edition of Week 1 Wide Receiver. Rankings 1 through 48 And Hayden's got some onion hangers for you, including Matthew Golden. I don't want to spoil this for you, but yeah, the preseason fantasy draft season love extends over into Week 1
Matthew Golden is a top 36 wide receiver in these rankings. Also, are you debating these Bears wide receivers, or what you should do with Rashee Rice, Malik Nabers coming off of injury to cover every single one of these topics, including all, and I mean all of the new play callers and offensive coordinators and how they impact these pass catchers. That's coming up next here on Yahoo Fantasy Football with Josh & Hayden. I want all of you to take a moment, close your eyes, and think of the best sporting event that you've ever attended. That instead of just sitting on your couch watching on television, you actually went to the game. For me, I was in college, Steph Curry Davidson was playing the NCAA tournament against Georgetown in Raleigh. I was like, Patrick Ewing Jr., all these like 6'11 guys versus Steph Curry and these 6'7 dudes. And I was like, I have to go see this. I have to go see the guy that is launching shots from half court, even if they have no chance to win. And guess what? They won. And it was so much better because I was actually there versus sitting at home. And you can be there in the action by using game time. College football is coming up, NFL preseason to watch your favorite rookies. It's all available here on game time. It's not just that. I am scrolling to see what is available this weekend in my area.
I can go see Hilary Duff if I want to or the dirty Govnus. I mean, whatever you want, it's here on game time. So get your friends together, get your tickets and tell them it's game time. Download, yes, the game time app. Create an account and use code fantasy for $20 off your first purchase. Terms apply. Again, create an account and redeem the code F-A-N-T-A-S-Y for $20 off. Find college football and NFL matchups on game time and download the app today.
It's week one wide receivers time. We're going to go at least 48 deep here. I mean, Hayden, we've talked with these players for months. One last moment, one last look at the depth charts, injury reports, who's practicing, who's not, obviously we're recording this a couple of days earlier than we are expecting. But it's the first rankings episodes of the season.
Hayden Winks (2:23)
Yeah, super excited. I will have Rashee Jaheed, Romeo Doubs, those guys written up. If you guys want to go read, some of you guys still read Yahoo Sports will have all my written work this year. So it'll be a version of the same blueprint and then we'll be hitting these wider receiver rankings typically on Friday, but too many games, nothing else to do right now.
Josh Norris (2:43)
You know, Wednesdays and Thursdays just throwing wrenches into our plans. We're going to talk about those Wednesday and Thursday wide receivers, too.
In this episode, so if you're watching on Friday or Saturday, just ignore them, just fast forward. And yes, Hayden is going to be updating these all the way up until Sunday. And by the way, Sunday, we are starting earlier than ever before, 1030 a.m. Eastern here on the channel, up until kickoff. So basically two shows back to back on Sunday morning. So lock in and be right here at that moment. Here we go. Puka Nacua is your wide receiver one this week. This is against the San Francisco 49ers.
Hayden, I think my question for the Rams and Puka in general is what changes this year? Because every year there is a change. For Sean McVeigh, is it even more 13 personnel? Are they going to live out of 12 personnel and use Terrence Ferguson as their wide receiver three? And maybe specifically for Puka, do we see more red zone targets for him immediately after he proved it that he can do it once DeVonta Adams went down last year?
Hayden Winks (3:38)
Rams always fascinating. I think they're going to double down on the 13 personnel stuff. I think they got a lot out of it. And I think that it does give defenses like a lot of things to consider. And I think that their skill talent at wide receiver and tight end indicates that that will be the case. That's good news for Puka Nacua. He's just going to dominate targets. And I hope that the red zone stuff gets a little bit closer together. Because DeVonta Adams, league high, 0.76 touchdowns per game in the red zone, Puka Nacua was at 0.32. So pretty much doubled him up in the red area. And even without those red zone touchdowns, he easily finished as the wide receiver one. He scored almost 3 more fantasy points per game than JSN. So I was looking at the 49ers' splits, because obviously these teams have played each other plenty of times. Puka Nacua has two games where he left halfway through those games. So you have to discount those games. And even then, 85 yards against the 49ers on average.
