The first running back rankings of the season has arrived. Yes, week one is here, and we've already got some big dilemmas. I mean, we have to deal with the Jonathan Brooks injury and what that means for Chuba Hubbard. Obviously, MarShawn Lloyd is set to get the start, but how much of a workload do Hayden and, yes, Justin Boone on this episode expect? Jadarian Price makes his NFL debut. Bhayshul Tuten versus Chris Rodriguez. I mean, again, a summer of arguing leads into a summer and a week one of debate on top of it. So we hit it all on this episode of Yahoo Fantasy Football with Josh and Hayden. Stick around. I want all of you to take a moment, close your eyes and think of the best sporting event that you've ever attended. That instead of just sitting on your couch, watching on television, you actually went to the game. For me, I was in college.
Steph Curry Davidson was playing the NCAA tournament against Georgetown in Raleigh. It was like Patrick Ewing Jr., all these like 6'11 guys versus Steph Curry and these 6'7 dudes. And I was like, I have to go see this. I have to go see the guy that is launching shots from half court, even if they have no chance to win. And guess what? They won. And it was so much better because I was actually there versus sitting at home. And you can be there in the action by using game time. College football is coming up, NFL preseason to watch your favorite rookies. It's all available here on game time. It's not just that. Like I am scrolling to see what is available this weekend in my area.
I can go see Hilary Duff if I want to or the dirty GovNas. I mean, whatever you want. It's here on game time. So get your friends together, get your tickets and tell them it's game time. Download. Yes. The game time app, create an account and use code fantasy for $20 off your first purchase terms apply.

Oh yeah, we are back week one running back rankings. And this year we take it to the next level. Yes, we welcome on a guest, not just on this episode, but every single running back episode for the entire season. His name is Justin Boone, the title owner, the man who wears the crown of the most accurate rancor in the fancy football world. Boone, welcome to the show.

Hey, it is great to be here with you guys. I feel like I've had nothing but complimentary things to say about you for what, the month or so that you've been here at Yahoo. It's been awesome. I told you guys already, this is like iron sharpens iron, right? Like we're going to get an opportunity here to bounce things off of each other, to kind of work through some of these rankings, maybe even change some on the fly. I'm not against doing that. If someone makes a really valid point. I always love it when that happens. I told Harman, I told Harman last year, like I finished as the most accurate receiver ranker and I absolutely think doing shows with him all the time and texting with him all the time, it played a part in that, right? It seeped into my brain somehow. So, you know, I thanked him for that along the way. And hopefully at the end of all of this, all of our rankings are going to be better gentlemen. We'll all be near the top.

I have a feeling that there's what five of us doing rankings in Yahoo that our consensus will be as good as it gets out there. But I know Josh, you have the other consensus that we're going to obviously argue with.
Josh Norris (3:19)
I do. I'm going to go through a few names and then we'll get into like how the show structure is going to be through the entire season. But I know that people want to get to these players. So let's dive in and then we'll take another reset and talk about that. Here we go. The first name, number one, for week one, Jahmyr Gibbs, as the Lions are 7 point favorites here against the New Orleans Saints. Boone, I saw Dan Campbell get in the mic and said that running back 2 job is between Jacob Sailors and Siyouni Vakai.
So we might be looking at, what, 80% snap share running back on a team projected for over 28 points here in week one.
