Duff, good morning. Good morning. When was the last time you were getting around in a caravan? You'd been caravanning at any point?

I stayed in a caravan on the night of my father's 80th birthday party, which was down in Darkin.
Which was eight years ago. It was on the eve of the last ever AFL game played at Subiaco Oval, which was the West Coast Adelaide game in 2017 And I had a sore throat.

Well, they had the party at the...
If there's family listening, they're going to laugh their heads off at this, because they were all there, and they all saw it.
Had the party at the Darkin Sports Club, and I was the only sober person at the party. Well, apart from my dad, who doesn't drink much. He was just there, lapping up the attention.
And yeah, stone cold sober, went back to the family farm, and I was worried about my sore throat. I knew I had to work the next day. I wasn't feeling well, and my sister-in-law Linda had this King Hell Southern Comfort, which had to be imported. You can't get it here. Do you know the one? No. It's lethal. Yeah. And she gave me just a shot, and I took a shot, hoping that it would improve my throat, and it did. There you go. So I had another shot.

In the tonic, yep.

So I had two shots.

Okay.

And then I started to feel quite good.

And then I had three shots. Linda warned me. She said, that needs to be your last one.

And then I felt really good. And then I went and had a fourth shot.

And I wasn't so good.

It's fair to say my lovely wife Sharon had to take me and put me to bed in my caravan. And I'd gone from completely sober to very, very drunk in about 20 minutes and four shots of Southern Cup.

I was more like coming off the bench in the last five minutes of the game.

Well, I'm glad I asked now.

That was my last night spinning a caravan.
