**Bobby** (0:15)
What's up, everyone?

**Steve Sarumi** (0:16)
Welcome to the 736, I think, episode of the Pokemon Podcast It's Super Effective. I'm your host, Steve. With me is Bobby.

**Bobby** (0:25)
Hello.
We are together again. Finally. Finally, yes.

**Steve Sarumi** (0:33)
And then we have two special guests because Austin couldn't be with us, but one has been on the show, one has not been on the show. We'll start with Caillou.

**Caillou** (0:42)
Yes, I have been on the show.

**Kelly** (0:44)
Yes, you have been, yes.

**Bobby** (0:45)
Yeah.

**Caillou** (0:47)
Thanks for having me, actually.

**Kelly** (0:47)
Yeah. This is the first time in person.

**Caillou** (0:49)
Yeah, first time because I did for my house.

**Kelly** (0:54)
Yes.

**Caillou** (0:54)
You guys were at your houses as well.

**Bobby** (0:57)
Right.

**Steve Sarumi** (1:00)
And then for the first time, we have Kelly joining us.

**Kelly** (1:03)
Hello. Fun fact, Bobby and I live in the same city, and yet the only time we see each other is at events like this.

**Bobby** (1:09)
Yeah, we never see each other in our own city.

**Kelly** (1:11)
Yeah.

**Steve Sarumi** (1:12)
Did you get a switch to?

**Kelly** (1:14)
We did see each other one time. We met up at a card shop parking lot. Well, an old card shop parking lot because they had moved.

**Bobby** (1:21)
Yeah, because they moved.

**Steve Sarumi** (1:22)
Yeah, Tom Brady probably drove them out of town.

**Kelly** (1:25)
We don't have Tom Brady in our town.
No. Okay.

**Steve Sarumi** (1:30)
All right, well, this is the show.
It's going to be, if you're watching on YouTube, you'll see we're in a new studio out here in San Francisco. If you're listening to the audio podcast, it should sound like we're all together. We are. Well, I try to make the normal show sound like we're all together.

**Caillou** (1:46)
Yeah. It always sounds like we're together.

**Steve Sarumi** (1:48)
Yeah. A little audio balancing.
So today's episode is really just going to be focused on worlds. I talked about this last week. We were recording on Saturday night, so we don't know anything with Sunday of the Chase Center or what would be announced after the Chase Center. But I think that's okay because there's so much that happened in the last, for some people two days, but I've been here since Tuesday and I have felt like this world is never ending.

**Bobby** (2:16)
Yeah, yeah, fair.

**Caillou** (2:19)
Is it a bad thing?

**Steve Sarumi** (2:21)
No, the only bad thing is the lack of sleep. Got it.

**Kelly** (2:26)
Yeah. 100 percent.

**Steve Sarumi** (2:27)
I think it's the lack of sleep.

**Bobby** (2:28)
I've been getting seven hours every night.

**Kelly** (2:30)
I don't know about anybody else.

**Bobby** (2:31)
What? I've been sleeping great.

**Steve Sarumi** (2:33)
Here, before we dive into Pokemon World slash Pokemon XP, let me do my disclosure and we can all do our own disclosures. The Pokemon Company International did pay for my flight and my hotel, and they paid me to be there.
So there's your disclosure on my end, Bobby?

**Bobby** (2:54)
Nothing.
I paid for my own drive up. I paid for my hotel. I paid for my one day ticket to the world.

**Kelly** (3:03)
OK.

**Bobby** (3:04)
There you go.

**Steve Sarumi** (3:05)
That's a good disclosure.

**Caillou** (3:08)
I am being hired by Pokemon GO to work here at Worlds, and opinions are my own.

**Bobby** (3:15)
OK.

**Kelly** (3:16)
I paid for everything.
Well, actually, shout out to my husband, who actually got the email to get three day tickets. So he paid for the tickets. I paid for the flight. Shout out to Chelsea, who couldn't make it, but she booked the hotel and then transferred the booking to me.

**Bobby** (3:32)
Team effort over there, which really was sponsored by Chelsea.

**Kelly** (3:35)
Sponsored by Chelsea.

**Steve Sarumi** (3:38)
OK, great. Now that the disclosures are out of the way, where do we want to start?

**Kelly** (3:45)
We can start on Wednesday.

**Bobby** (3:47)
Yeah.

**Kelly** (3:48)
Because that's when Pokémon Center opened up, right?

**Steve Sarumi** (3:51)
Yeah.

**Caillou** (3:52)
For the players.

**Kelly** (3:53)
For the players and for creators, right?

**Steve Sarumi** (3:57)
No, normal people could go on Wednesday.

**Caillou** (3:58)
Oh, yes.

**Kelly** (4:00)
But the wait lines for you.

**Steve Sarumi** (4:02)
Yeah. Do we want to start off with a negative?

**Kelly** (4:07)
Well, to be fair, Pokémon Center, once you got past the barricade, it was a very smooth trip through compared to last year.

**Steve Sarumi** (4:18)
Yes.

**Kelly** (4:20)
It was managed much, much better.

**Steve Sarumi** (4:22)
