Just me for now. It's a Wednesday night. I want to thank everybody for joining me on this edition of The Midweek.

We're in for a hell of a ride tonight talking about the Deep South's oldest rivalry. Next up for the Auburn Tigers are the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens, the game that Auburn has not won in Athens since 2005 You heard that right. It's been 21 years since Auburn has gone down to Athens and somehow gotten out of there with a win. But I want to start tonight's show talking about the state of Auburn football as it is right now.

Guys, Auburn is on the brink. This program is on the brink of what I think would be a disaster of a season if they can't make a ballgame. And while I'm not giving Auburn much of a chance to win this game, there's work to be done after this and you've got to find something in this game that can give you a spark going into the next game and the game after that. Now, who knows, maybe Auburn pulls out a miracle on Saturday and they win the game and we're all sitting here eating crow. But I don't know about you guys, I don't have a lot of hope for the Tigers based on what we've seen so far, which brings me back to the state of Auburn football as it is right now. The offense has never been worse. The offense is bad. And why I say the offense has never been worse is that even in the worst years, Auburn has been able to run the football. Guys, they can't run the football. If you can't run the football even a little, I don't know how you're going to have a chance against Georgia. If you can't throw the ball consistently and accurately, I don't know how you're going to have a chance against Georgia. If you can't find something more than 28 points at some point in SEC play offensively, I don't know how you're going to beat Georgia.
