Good morning, my friends. You're on Live The Dream Media. You're on Wake Up Live with Christopher DeSimone. It's going to be a busy show. Kent Strang from Americans for Prosperity will be videoing in. He went to the socialist convention. He attended the socialist convention. We're going to get a review of Kent at the socialist convention. It should be quite entertaining. And then of course, Captain Bob Wells, Hessam Rahimian coming up at seven o'clock. David Samorano on the David Samorano show coming up at eight o'clock. And he has our good friend Damien from 857 Tucson. So that will be a excellent show with Damien, who has carved himself the spot as the best, he is easily the best crime reporter in Pima County.
And he really, he's covering politics and he's part of the, I don't even like the word alternative media anymore. It's the new media. The people who are actually looking at things with clear eyeballs. It's, so that's coming up at eight o'clock on David Sam, I want to call it the David Samarano Experience like Jimi Hendrix, but the David Samarano show going on at eight o'clock. So Kent's on in 25 minutes. My, I was gonna, my Positive Monday will start off with my Jonathan Hoffman decreed what happened on my weekend. Friday night, we went to the, CDO football game and you could tell they're in a rebuilding year. Moran isn't a little bit of a rebuilding year.
They, all Morana had to do was run the ball on CDO. That's how, that's, that's the kind of game it was. 28-7, Morana left a lot of points on the board, but great crowd, it was Western night. Everyone was, they had the country music blaring and the cheerleaders changed out their white little sneakers for white cowboy boots. And then I got to see the band. You never know what that band's gonna do because they're getting ready for a competition later in the year. So you can't, you hope, I mean, Ed Alexander used to be pissed off about Radiohead being played by the U of A band. They don't do that. This is like a performance. They pick out some unique piece and they basically use the half times of home football games to rehearse during the year. So remember a year or two ago, it was the one where they were sacrificing virgins on the tree, whatever hell story that was. This one's called Valkyrie. And it's deep, man. It's deep, but got to hang out with our buddy, Emily. Don was there, Big Don. It was good to see him. I know Arenas was there, but we did not see each other. Now the one thing that someone's got to explain to me, and I want to know, so if you, CDO is next to James Creek Park, right? And there's these big concrete stairs that go from the CDO parking lot up to the parking lot at James Creek. So, I usually park on the other side of the pool. You take a straight shot through. I don't have to park in the parking lot. You go right down that stairs, direct shot. I don't know if it was the town or the Amphi School District. Both governances are interesting, we'll just say, right? Someone built a giant wrought iron fence. It's not even a gate that you can open and shut. It's just a fence, just blocking it off. And you forced everyone to go through the traffic. I don't know how... did anyone talk to Chief Riley about this? And I tell you, my friends with Rockin For Heroes, they just made your life a living hell on the parking there. Because you could not directly... it's not a gate, it's just a giant fence. It's so stupid. I'll have to find out. It's stupid.
But then the big thing over the weekend, the positive... here's where Positive Monday, we went to Weird Al Yankovic last night. Shay, put that big, beautiful pictures up, please.
Weird Al Yankovic last night at the Tucson Arena, which is a rarity to see DeSimone at night, Bill No. 2 thought I was insane, at night at the Tucson Arena.
And this guy puts on a hell of a show. He's like 65, 66 years old.
The core of his band is still the same, bassist, guitarist, drummer and keyboardist. And then he's added three, four vivacious young ladies to sing back up. One plays a variety of saxophones, one plays rhythm guitar. One that you could tell is the lead female singer back up with him, kind of does little duets and stuff like that. And it's a moving and grooving show, man. I would say 85% full at the Tucson Arena.
