Hey, folks, it's Tim Murray, and here we are. College football season, long Saturdays ahead, and staying locked in for an entire day of football takes a little bit more than coffee. Loreen's new pouch is built exactly for that, without the nicotine. It works just like the pouches you've seen before. Tuck one in and go about your day. Each has 50 milligrams of caffeine, about half a cup of coffee, plus L-theanine and alpha GPC for smooth, steady focus with no crash. And because it's Loreen, it's also got nano hydroxyapatite, the mineral your teeth are made of, so it gives your daily enamel support in between brushings. It's smooth energy without the jitters, and it comes in mint, cinnamon, and mango, all nicotine free. I love the cinnamon. Give Loreen a try.
Right now, Loreen is offering our listeners up to 50% off at buyloreen.com/college.

Game of the night, Wrigley Field, one on first and second for the Chicago Cubs, bottom of the first inning. Nico Horner at the plate right now for the Chicago Cubs, two outs. We'll see if the Cubs can get on the board first here against the Atlanta Braves, the Milwaukee Brewers through four innings, one nothing lead, four scoreless innings for the Ms. Seven Strikeouts. That's Matt Youmans. I'm Tim Murray coming up at the bottom of the hour. Pro better Eddie Walls will help us break down the week three college football card. But how was week one for the sportsbooks? Let's find out right now.
SPEAKER_2 (1:54)
Where are the lines changing and where's the money going? Let's go behind the counter.
Tim Murray (1:59)
Jeff Sherman, Senior Risk Management here at Circa Sports, joins us courtesy of our progressive guest line. He joins us each and every Tuesday to give us the latest from behind the counter. I know a lot of carnage. Jeff is the number two selection in Circa Survivor, as well as the number one selection in Circa. Grandesimo was gone. Overall, how was the Sunday handle for you guys in week one of the college football, or excuse me, the NFL slate?
Jeff Sherman (2:25)
The handle was fantastic. And you know, you mentioned as far as the results, it was really spearheaded by the Chargers losing that game outright, because that took a lot of Moneyline Parlay's teasers out. But we had an up and down day that day. I mean, we had a lot of giant support against the Cowboys on Sunday night, and we really needed the game to stay under. So it was a touch and go day for us.
Matt Youmans (2:49)
Jeff, are you surprised that so many people thought the Chargers were such a lock to beat the Cardinals, or did you think the Chargers were a lock as well, or close to it?
Jeff Sherman (2:58)
Well, I didn't think that they were a lock. The one thing I've been assessing when we looked at the bottom two teams with the Cardinals and the Dolphins, the Cardinals at least have a semblance of skill players on offense. And if they can score, they can keep themselves in games. The Dolphins look like they're gonna have trouble on both sides of the ball. So if I was, I was not heavily involved with leaning towards saying the Chargers would be the starting point, if you're looking at a survivor contest. My wife's in one, I told her to pick the Jaguars. So we avoided that game.
So she's on to week two, but yeah, it was, I think the Cardinals, their schedule is so difficult this year, and that's why they have such a low season win total. But I think as an underdog, that they're going to be a solid play throughout the season because of what their offense can do.
Matt Youmans (3:49)
I agree, Cardinals can be competitive with that offense. Tim and I have talked about it. They got some skilled position players and they proved that against the Chargers who have been historical underachievers. And that's why I didn't really trust them in that game. Also, their interior offensive line is a mess. Your wife is a Broncos fan.
Was she kind of an unhappy person to live with over the past 24 hours? How did that go?
Jeff Sherman (4:15)
That's an understatement. She didn't even want to come home and face me last night. So yeah, that was a tough go. And it wasn't even just a loss. It was a tough loss. And I don't know if Sean Payton is going to pull the reins off Davis Webb from offensive play calling already, but they need to do some things quickly or it can get away. They have a tough start to the season. Their schedule is very difficult.
