Hey, folks, it's Tim Murray, and here we are. College football season, long Saturdays ahead, and staying locked in for an entire day of football takes a little bit more than coffee. Loreen's new pouch is built exactly for that, without the nicotine. It works just like the pouches you've seen before. Tuck one in and go about your day. Each has 50 milligrams of caffeine, about half a cup of coffee, plus L-Theanine and Alpha-GPC for smooth, steady focus with no crash. And because it's Loreen, it's also got nano-hydroxyapatite, the mineral your teeth are made of, so it gives your daily enamel support in between brushings. It's smooth energy without the jitters, and it comes in mint, cinnamon and mango, all nicotine free. I love the cinnamon. Give Loreen a try.

Right now, Loreen is offering our listeners up to 50% off at buyloreen.com/college.

Tim Murray (1:25)

Wrap it up, week six of the NFL season, game six of the ALCS. Will we have our World Series matchup by the end of the evening? Rays, Curly up three games to two against the Cleveland Guardians. That's Matt Youmans. I'm Tim Murray, Washington and San Francisco. Matt, will the underdogs in Primetime continue? Nine straight wins for underdogs in Primetime. The Washington Commanders right now, seven and a half or seven. Starting to see a little bit of Washington support come into the market right now, as some of those seven and a half are getting picked off, including right here at Circa, down to seven.

Matt Youmans (2:04)

Yeah, that's a bit misleading. The Packers were favored against the Cowboys all of last week.

Tim Murray (2:09)

All of last week. It closed down on us, but yeah, it makes it sound better, but yes.

Matt Youmans (2:14)

The Packers were one point one, one and a half point favorites all week against the Cowboys till the very end. Yeah, it does sound great, and it's a strong trend, and I hope it continues tonight, because I'm on Commanders plus seven and a half for a lot of different reasons, and hopefully the dog gets there again tonight.

I wouldn't bet on the Commanders to win the game straight up, but I think this is a type of game that could go to the wire, and the Commanders have got a lot to play for tonight, man. There's a lot of people under fire on that sideline right now. The quarterback and the coach under the most.

Tim Murray (2:44)

Well, it's one of those situations, Matt, where maybe this is too simplistic, but what is the last thing we saw about both of these teams? San Francisco is undefeated. Last time we saw them out, they beat the Seattle Seahawks on the road, and Washington was a blunder of all blunders at the end of that game. Gonna win the game against the New York Giants in overtime, and instead ends up with a 27-27 loss. I think that's a way a lot of people are looking at it. So I'm with you. I did take Washington plus the 7.5.

We do have some injury news as well, some positive news. Mike Evans will be active tonight for the San Francisco 49ers, and Stefan Diggs will be active for the Washington Commanders. Injury news, though. Jacory Kroski-Mera not only out tonight, but placed on IR. So the Washington run game. We'll see what it will look like tonight against San Francisco. Could it be Rashad White catching some balls out of the backfield? Austin Eckler making some appearances as well for Washington.

Matt Youmans (3:41)

The 49ers are a pretty beat up team right now. They've been through a tough five game stretch off a tough division win at Seattle too, as you mentioned. Wide receiver core banged up, including Debo Samuel, Mike Evans. A bunch of, you know, Bosa's been out. This defense is taking some hits. And I think the 49ers kind of look at tonight's game as a rest stop, right? They've been through a lot here in the first five weeks. And they got some tougher games coming up on the schedule tonight.

But you can never kick back and think the game is going to be easy in the NFL. Do you think the Rams thought the Cardinals were going to be an easy out yesterday?

Tim Murray (4:16)

I think a lot of people at Circus Survivor did.

Matt Youmans (4:19)

So here's the one thing about the Commanders.

I think is the key to the handicap is they have so much to prove tonight. I always talk, I talk, Wes Reynolds and I used to talk about this all the time on the show we did at night. And that was a buy on bad news, right? You want to buy on negativity when nobody wants a team. That's when you want to buy a team. Right now the Commanders are getting crapped on by everybody. Dan Quinn, probably close to be in the first coach fire.
