We're taking in this Brewers-Cubs game where I have a sneaking suspicion that Milwaukee is probably going to add on some more runs and put the final nail in the coffin for yours truly as someone who is on the Cubs' first five. They got five runs off Jacob Mizorowski. You think that'd be good enough, right? Nope.
David Peterson decided to allow six. So that's where we currently sit. But let's cheer up and let's talk some football bets with our buddy, betting analyst at SportsLine on CBS Sports HQ. David, thanks for hanging with us as always here on VSiN PrimeTime. I want to start off with college football and tomorrow night's game in particular, which sounds amazing to say tomorrow night's game. We are here, we are back. Colorado, Georgia Tech, Yellow Jackets, Lang 6.5, 7 in some places. How do you see this one playing out from a betting standpoint tomorrow night in Atlanta?

**David Bearman** (1:43)
Good evening, gentlemen. Always glad to be talking football. We're back. You said Colorado, Georgia Tech. It's not 1990, so we don't have to worry about those two teams being exceptionally good.
Georgia Tech did lose their offense corner. Buster Faulkner went to Florida. Quarterback Haynes King left for graduation, but they got plenty of pieces to recoup right there. A team that was 9-3 last year nearly won the ACC, took Georgia to the Bell. It's actually a really good team. This year at quarterback, Fernando Mendoza's little brother, Alberto, who played sparingly in Indiana, takes over that team at quarterback and they got the top running back in the portal in Justice Hayes. Last year, Georgia Tech won this game by 7 They ran for 320 yards. This is more of a play on fading Colorado than anything else, guys, because they're basically blowing it up and starting over in Colorado again. Deion Sanders, his first year after losing, his kid, Shador, and Travis Hunter, they were awful last year, 3-9.
They brought in over 40 more transfer this year. Team finished 114th in total offense, 100th in rushing. The rush defense was awful. The reset didn't work last year. I don't think it's going to work this year. Their defense was terrible against the run, 82nd in EPA per rush, giving up 320 yards. Georgia Tech will control possession with their power running game and should win this one fairly easily. Last year was 27-20. I expect it to be worse this year.

All right, David, we're going head to head. It sounds like Georgia. I think they actually break through and break the streak. I know all the numbers about them not covering, but boy, I can't get behind this Tennessee state team. State your case here. Who do you like and why?

**David Bearman** (3:24)
I mean, this is just fully on the fact that that trend that you just sort of mentioned. KirbySmart, 0-15-1 when laying 38 or more points. His team just doesn't push the gas in the fourth quarter against these teams. I'll give you the example. Last year, Georgia was playing Charlotte in this scenario.
Charlotte, who had one win against Monmouth, who no one's ever heard of, they finished one at 11, one of the worst teams in football. Georgia only won 35-3 as I'm sitting there sweating out the fourth quarter of Charlotte vs. Georgia, but that's just what happens. It was 35-3 in the third quarter, and it was 35-3 when the game ended. Do I know anything about Tennessee Tech? I'm not even going to lie and tell you I know anything about it, but I'm telling you that just don't cover these spreads with this big. Sure, you have a million reasons to take Georgia, and you would be right. Georgia is the better team. Georgia could win 62-0 on accident, but they just don't. This is not what they do when they play FCS teams or lower ranked FBS teams.
It's blind faith taking 46-1⁄2 and just picture me on Saturday afternoon, sweating out Georgia vs. Tennessee Tech when the score is 42-0 in the fourth quarter.
