Alongside Matt Youmans, I'm Tim Murray. Before we get to Ian Cameron, go through his favorite plays for the weekend and the rest of the night here in college football. Quick updates from baseball and college football. Matt, let's start with a little baseball. Bottom of the third inning, Matt.
The soon to be MVP has delivered.

**Matt Youmans** (0:36)
MVP. Pete Crow Armstrong with a home run, and the Cubs take the lead 2 to 1, or actually 2-0 on the Brewers at Wrigley.
And that's home run number 39 for PCA, who is going to be the MVP, no doubt about it at this point.

**Tim Murray** (0:50)
The Rutgers, Scarlet Knights trying to make a move here. They're down 20 to Youmass, who went 0-12 a year ago, 27-7.
Six and a half minutes ago, third quarter right now. Live number, Youmass minus 620 on the Moneyline, minus nine and a half live. We've got two other games going on right now.
Wake Forest up 17, nothing over Akron. That game closed around 28, 27 and a half in favor of the Demon Deacons. UCF up big on FCS Bethune-Cookman, and coming up in just a little bit. Georgia Tech taking on Coach Prime in Colorado. Both Matt and I have seven with Colorado, and Matt has the over. All right, let's head to our progressive guest line. A gentleman that certainly has opinions on this game and the rest of the card this weekend. Our buddy north of the border, the Canadian kid Ian Cameron joins us right now. Kick off at about 15, 20 minutes in Atlanta, Georgia. Georgia Tech right now, we'll call it a consensus six and a half. Total has gone up to 53 and a half, Ian. Anything you make of Colorado, Georgia Tech, which is our PrimeTime game in the night.

**Ian Cameron** (1:57)
Yeah, I know Colorado last year was atrocious on the road. We're still worried about what's the defense going to look like? What's that offensive line going to look like? We know under Deion Sanders, the trench play has been less than stellar, and that's putting it mildly. But I think there's things to like. Brennan Marion, the new offensive coordinator, great job at Sac State. Julian Lewis, the quarterback last year down the stretch, played some pretty solid football. There's chance for this offense to be pretty solid, whereas you look at it on the defensive side for Georgia Tech. They lose a lot. They have the new coordinator in Bobby Howe. You just wonder if that's all going to come together. And I think for Georgia Tech, it was a seven-point game last year. They lose their all-world heart and soul quarterback, Haynes King. I know Alberto Mendoza is going to come in, and from the reports I've read, he's done okay in camp. But when Kurt Signetti passes on keeping you around, I always raise my eyebrow and say, well, that guy knows what he's talking about, knows what he's doing. So maybe there's something to that. So I've got to see it from Fernando's brother, whether he's just going to step in and be great at quarterback.
Sounds like I'm on the same side as you guys. I think Colorado at seven is worth a look here.

**Matt Youmans** (2:59)
For the record, Kurt Signetti did say he tried to keep, he tried to keep Alberto Mendoza, but obviously he didn't feel like he was ready to play at a championship level right now, which is why he brought in a more experienced quarterback and Josh Hoover from TCU.
Ian Cameron, Canadian kid with us now, and follow him at BobonoBets. Ian, how about college football Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday, Monday? What are your best bets this weekend?

**Ian Cameron** (3:28)
Yeah, as far as Friday, I would say my favorite is probably Fresno plus the points against USC, and it's just for USC. You saw it in Plain's date last week against San Jose State that, you know, the offense looks good with Maiava, with the running backs, King Miller and company, they look really good, but the defense, there's still some questions. I mean, Luke Weaver, the Hawaii transfer at quarterback for San Jose State, he played well, and you know, as that game went on, and don't forget, they stalled in the red zone, San Jose State in the first half, or it could have been even more points for them last week. You have to remember USC has never been known for defense under Lincoln Riley. They've got a new coordinator in Gary Patterson, so that could end up taking some time. I like this Fresno team. I like Matt Entz as a head coach. It's been successful where he's been. The run games should be good. The offensive line looks really solid. They've got a lot of their starters back. Defense has playmakers on all three levels. The one concern is Mandel, the quarterback, who's been named the starter. That's probably the one question. How well can he play? Only had, I think, nine pass attempts with Fresno last season. So not a lot of game experience there, but factor in that USC is laying a big number, which they didn't come close to covering against San Jose State. Bigger games on deck. A Fresno State team that's gonna run it a lot. Churn clock.
