Somebody should have disputed the fumble in the Hawaii-Stanford game at the goal line. It's got that overturned. But I'll tell you what, the Brewers are getting bombed tonight. Kyle Harrison's allowed five home runs. He's down 8-0 with one out in the fourth. And you gotta wonder, why the hell is he even in the game? Two runners on base, Pat Murphy, who's probably gonna be manager of the year for a third time in a row, asleep at the wheel tonight. Harrison's at 93 pitches, down 8 runs. Why would you leave a young pitcher in, but just put more mileage on his arm in a game where he's getting abused? He's still out there.

Matt, as we look ahead to week one of the college football season, Zach Bigelow is gonna join us coming up bottom of the hour.
We have some data points for 16 teams. Not all of them are gonna be in action. UNC, Virginia, TCU, and NC State, I believe all are off this week, but you were in attendance at Hawaii Stanford. Stanford will play on Friday night against Miami. Hawaii will be at home against UNLV. I want to look at that game real quickly because, you know, as much as people give us a, razz us a little bit about, you guys love Hawaii so much. Well, they're always the last game on the board or one of the last games on the board. And this is actually one of the more competitive games based off of the point spread of week one, Hawaii and UNLV. And now you add in the element that both teams are 0-1 coming into this game. You know, we talked to Matt Grill. Was it an overreaction or proper adjustment that North Dakota State hopped UNLV become favorites to win the Mountain West based off of what we saw in week zero? But Matt, I want to read you a couple of things here regarding these games or this game this weekend. This is from our buddy Adam Hill. Center Austin Boyd, UNLV center. He went down with injury.

UNLV had 12 plays for minus 14 yards. And that included the 17-yard gain on the final play, final desperation play of the game. So between the time of the injury and the final play, the Rebels ran 11 plays for minus 31 yards, including four sacks and a drop snap.

Austin Boyd, by the way, Pat Murphy is making a very slow stroll out to the mound. I think the day is over for Kyle Harrison at 98 pitches and five homers allowed.

Yeah, the UNLV offense fell apart in the second half. Offensive line broke down, obviously. Jackson Arnold, the quarterback, he's got a reputation for holding the ball too long.
Held the ball way too long. And I thought Dan Mullen did a poor job in terms of game management. Just mismanaged a couple of key situations where he should have put points on the board and blew it. And when you have a situation, Tim, where the defensive line is basically in a jailbreak, and that's what the Memphis defensive line looked like. Every snap of the ball. Pin in their ears back. Yeah, just going straight after the quarterback. Why do you not call some plays where you're dumping it off, but running back over the middle or some screens or quick hitters to tight ends where you don't put your quarterback in that situation where he's dropping back and holding the ball and getting sacked every time? I know after the game, Dan Mullen actually took the fans to task. Did you hear this?

I want to try to pull that clip. He was upset with the fans.
I guess he said they didn't know when to do the wave, when they didn't know when to cheer, when to stay quiet, whatever. Shut up. You know, you begged for the fans to come out to games, and then when they come out, you're critical about when they cheer or when they're quiet.
