Power Hour is set to begin right here in VSiN By The Books on this Monday morning. I'm Dave Ross right here at the MN Gaming Hall, Franklin, Kentucky, and Saturday at VSiN Studio, Overlooking Circus Sports. There he is, our closer Jensen Lewis back home in Cleveland, Ohio. Lots to get to here in this hour. We're going to bet that build here with the Daily Gridiron here, and a football between the Commanders and the 49ers, our best bets and some inventory as we are off to a really good start, knocking on wood here with our ATS plays that we've been giving out here, Circle Millions potentially, Jensen, do something we've never done before, and that's go 5-0. Of course, the king of Connecticut, Will Hill, will join the program as well. But we've got the NBA starting tomorrow, and in college football, before we get to the NBA, we've got a shake up at the top. What's interesting about this, with the chaos that ensued this weekend, with five of the top seven schools losing outright, is that, yes, it brings other teams back into that national championship picture, but it also kind of insulates some of those teams at the top, with everybody losing, and not just you, if you're Notre Dame, if you're Georgia, if you're Indiana. It kind of gives those teams a little bit of reprieve. And Jensen, I think this is part of the consternation about why the expansion sometimes, as I always like to say, doesn't necessarily give everybody else an equal opportunity to win. It helps out the big guy in situations like this that occurred over the weekend. And that's why Notre Dame, with maybe to some a shocking loss at BYU, I know it wasn't shocking to you, are still the betting favorites at plus 450, let alone still to get into the college football playoff.
Jensen Lewis (3:10)
Yeah, I think it's remarkable that when you look at that de facto elimination game for Notre Dame, if they lose, I think it is that if you lose to Miami. Now, think about all the other two lost teams that they're going to be in conjunction with. Okay, let me reset it for people just joining us. There are five undefeated teams remaining in the top 25 Number one, Miami, new number two BYU, new number eight Texas Tech, new number nine UCLA, and new number ten Utah. Dave, there are three teams in the big 12 in the top 10 BYU, Texas Tech, Utah. I told you that we've had holy wars that have redefined planet Earth and the tectonic plates of this great world that we live in.
It may be that in Salt Lake City upcoming later on this year between BYU and Utah.
Where I would look to, and you and I identified the team that Roy Philpott has been with us with this past week. And that's Ole Miss. Ole Miss now kind of controls their own destiny in this SEC. Okay, so a big win against Missouri on their home soil. Now they're going to go to Texas, who is a weird dynamic, right? This is absolute must-win, save your season territory for Texas. Because if they lose, that's their third conference, not just their third loss. That's their third conference loss. You're out. You're out of everything. If Texas loses this week, and they might still be on the outside looking in. But Ole Miss controls their destiny now.
You beat Texas on the road, then you've got a Halloween tilt at home against Auburn, then you get Georgia at home. And if you get the head-to-head win against Georgia, you surge into one of those top spots in the SEC. There are four teams with one loss in the SEC conference right now. It's Georgia, it's Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
