Dustin Swedelson (0:20)

Lew, what it do? It's great to be with you as I broadcast from the Circus Sports Book in downtown Las Vegas, Jensen as always, in Cleveland, Ohio. We got a fun show lined up for you today.

That alarm clock, buddy, that's a new experience for your boy. I had a little PTSD from when I was the producer of Follow The Money in this shift from four to seven a.m. Pacific time, but we're here, we're ready to rock and roll. And I'd say this, outside of West Reynolds, you have the two people who probably fire the most over on the vsin.com picks page. What's going on, brother?

Jensen Lewis (0:53)

Buddy, great to be with you. A long time in the making here. For people that don't know the historical context of this dynamic duo, it was Dustin who actually approached me years ago to have a spot there with Follow The Money. And turnabouts fair play, my friend. Now we get to do this here on a Football Friday, a jam-packed day of sports. I was down at Progressive Field yesterday for game three of the ALCS, albeit we didn't, we haven't really had any much rain, so they didn't really need to move it up to one o'clock. It's pretty dry here. Now, I digress, it's gonna pour here in about a half hour. So no official word that today is gonna be postponed, but that was the talk yesterday. So we'll obviously dive into what happened yesterday.

Kind of a big sports weekend here at Ohio, Dustin. Now we got Ohio State, Indiana tomorrow. Of course, that's in Bloomington. The Old Browns versus the New Browns. Ravens Browns on Sunday. And then obviously we'll have game four and game five at some point here in Cleveland for the American League Championship Series. But great to be with you, buddy. It's gonna be a fast three hours. Can't wait to dive in with you.

Dustin Swedelson (1:55)

Yeah, a lot to get to at the baseball. I do wonder if Steven Vogt maybe has been managing, anticipating perhaps a rain out today, because you look at the way they're handling the pitching, going all in early, the rain would be the best thing to happen to that rotation right now, to set up the rest of the ALCS. We'll touch on that and more along the way. We've got that game to preview because we've got plenty of news on the other side of the bracket in the baseball postseason. But first, let's let everyone know who's coming up on the program today. We're looking at about 43 minutes away, Thomas Gable. They're an Atlantic City Director, Race and Sports book at the Borgata.

Curious what the Philadelphia Eagles numbers are looking like on the handle right now with the Jalen Hurts news we'll get to. Aaron Murray, ESPN College Football Analyst, his breakdown of College Football Week 7

We'll chat with Ryan Dempster, World Series Champion, what we're seeing in the Baseball postseason. And then legendary voice in the National Football League, Kevin Harlan joins us in our final segment of the show. But before we hit all that, let's recap what you missed when you were asleep. It's time for our next segment, Highlights and Headlines.

SPEAKER_1 (2:59)

Help your bottom line with today's highlights and headlines.

Dustin Swedelson (3:04)

Let's begin with Major League Baseball on a Friday. Jay Lou, what is going on? The Brewers rallied to sweep the Dodgers. They win their first pennant since 1982

When you look at what we just saw, history in the making in front of our eyes, first team in baseball history to sweep the team that swept them the year prior, it appears the Milwaukee Brewers are now your World Series favorite.

Jensen Lewis (3:31)

They are. Boy, what a difference a year makes.

It was part of my handicap, Dustin, before the series was looking at, A, I thought the Brewers pitching top to bottom was far better and more lethal than what they were last year against a far more potent Dodger offense that entered the NLCS in 2025 than what this year's really wounded animal of sorts was headed in.

A, even with the Shohei Otani home run to put LA up for nothing, you saw the Brewers and how they do it their way, right? Cut the deficit in half in the fourth inning, tie the game in the fifth, and Jake Bowers is going to be a folk hero in Milwaukee. I don't know how much, you know, Bush light, he's going to be able to put away once he retires. And I think that's the funny part. He was supposed to be retired before the season even started, but all's well. That ends well. Milwaukee Dustin trailed in all four games of this NLCS. They are now the fourth team ever, or at least the fourth team this century to win a best of five, seven series while coming from behind. The last team to do it were the 2015 Royals. Guess what happened there? They won the World Series. Good old man there. 2004, the Cardinals. Yes, that's the David Fries. We'll see you all tomorrow night, home run. And then the 2002 Angels. I was just a wee lad graduating high school that year when it was K-Rod and the boys that ended up hoisting the trophy. So what a finish. Now though, eight days, Dustin, eight days between now and game one of the World Series. Yes, I have experience with this because my rookie year in 07, it was nine days from when the Rockies swept the Diamondbacks to win game one happened. We all know what happened there. Boston went on to handily win that World Series. So rest VS Russ going to be part of the handicaps, certainly next week.
