I'm Dave Ross, right here at the mid-game. You know, frankly, Kentucky inside our VC studio, overlooking beautiful certain sports. Jensen Lewis back on the Cleveland, Ohio. You're gonna bundle up. What's that attire gonna be like as you make your way down to the ball game today?

Jensen Lewis (0:38)

We're actually gonna be okay. So weather-wise, you know, the temperature at first pitch, as I kind of bring up our trusty weather app here, it'll be decently comfortable for this time of year. We should be in the low 60s, might be a little overcast.

We are due for rain probably around 8 o'clock Eastern time. So again, the original first pitch schedule for ALCS game three was 6 p.m. They wanted to avoid any issues whatsoever. So it's moved the one o'clock. I'll be headed down right after our show and be able to take it in for all the sights and sounds. So moving day in the ALCS, it moves up a few hours here. And boy, what a matchup it's gonna be.

Dave Ross (1:22)

Can't wait to break that down. Of course, Daily Diamonds coming up. Beau Bishop's gonna join us. It's a rather big game in college football too, by the way, to discuss with Ohio State, Indiana. Gonna have the Meister join us in the next hour here.

Mike Palm right there from Circa in Las Vegas. But we're also gonna kick off week number six of the NFL season. Don't blink. It goes by fast. That's where we begin our highlights and headlines.

Help your bottom line with today's highlights and headlines.

Dave Ross (1:51)

A battle of mirror image teams at least record wise. Three and two in this big Thursday night match up here. The Seahawks are road favorites. They were as big as three. It's down to two and a half. I don't know that it's gonna come off that two and a half. Maybe some twos out there going the other way towards Denver. This total has come down to 40 and a half Jensen Lewis.

And both you and I have plays on both the side and the total.

Jensen Lewis (2:14)

Yeah, under for me, under 42 and a half from earlier in the week down to 40 and a half is where we stand right now at Circa. Again, if you've been with us all week or if you're just joining us now, a lot of inefficiency with both these offenses. So it almost feels like first team to 20 wins this game tonight. If we even get there, Dave, it could dirt. It could certainly envision like a 1713 something like that. So 1716 covers all numbers, at least if you're the underdog. So it's going to be a fun chess match between two coaches that really had the sense of urgency factor tonight, right? Seattle can't afford to drop another game, especially where the NFC West is and the Broncos, a chance to continue to add pressure on the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs who will play at home against the winless chargers on Sunday.

Dave Ross (3:02)

Yeah, and I'm in pocket here with the Broncos Moneyline and the plus threes from earlier in the week. I don't know that those are going to pop again, but that's why we do the exercise of hold or fire. We had mentioned, hey, if you like the Broncos, grab those threes because here we are. They're not around any longer. By the way, I had the Falcons in pocket, plus three from earlier in the week as well. Those numbers are gone because of the quarterback news. And what surprises me a little bit, it's not just that Michael Pennex Jr. looks like he's going to be able to go on Sunday, but that this number has not gone back up with what looks like to be the news of Caleb Williams, who has practiced in full. Jensen, that does surprise me that the market hasn't readjusted at least back a little bit towards a tick towards Chicago.

Jensen Lewis (3:44)

I'll be honest, I'm kind of excited to see where this adjustment eventually lands once we get to kick off on Sunday. Will it go any further?

I don't know, but certainly, going from what was as high as three and a half, we're seeing, Dave, I'm seeing halves. I'm seeing Falcons getting a half at some point. I have seen a Pickham at a far away land. This is a drastic drop here. And again, on the surface, we have the positive updates that both clubs were looking for. Caleb Williams, full practice, Michael Pennex, Jr., expected to start on Sunday. So anxious to see where we are on Sunday and wow, already a three, three and a half point move in favor of the Falcons.
