Top of the hour, it is VSiN By The Books. Dave Ross right here at the Mid-Gaming Hall, Franklin, Kentucky. Inside our VSiN studio, Overlooking Circus Sports. He is our closer, Jensen Lewis, back home in Cleveland, Ohio. If you had to take a radio pulse of the city today after game two, is everybody still calm, Jensen? Knowing the series is coming back to the land, and hey, 1-1 is not the end of the world.

Jensen Lewis (1:20)

I don't listen to the frat boy radio here because it's all about how Cleveland, you know, just gave away an opportunity against the New York Jets. Like, hey, by the way, no one cares, because right now you should be focused on a team that is three wins away from the World Series. So for those of us sane and intelligent people, we turn to programs like this, where you get the real and actionable information. Everyone is feeling good.

We should get the game in tomorrow, no problem. But we are looking a bit dicey for game four on Friday, with some weather moving into the area. So again, it is Cleveland, it is the lake. We'll see in 24 hours. I'm sure everything will have changed by that.

Dave Ross (2:01)

Let's talk about that, because we have a lot to get to here. With this game, we have a big one in LA tonight, and that kickstarts our Highlights and Headlines.

Five-inning Freddie was really good, went six innings, shutout ball there for Tampa Bay. The bullpen, really good as well. They hold on for that three-to-one win over the guards, and it was a big error early in that game with two outs. It really kind of opened up the floodgates to get those three runs across for Tampa Bay. But at the end of the day, Jensen, as we mentioned, it is 1-1, and you mentioned that weather may be coming into Cleveland. How do you think things now shape up as Tampa's flipped back to the favorite at $1.35? With all those things at play, does that feel like the right price point for the way maybe the bullpens are situated as the series comes back to Cleveland?

Jensen Lewis (2:53)

Well, recommended yesterday. If you were going to get in, yesterday would be a great time not only to play a three-quarter unit spot on the raised money line, but also get a quarter unit play on the series price because we felt that that would be the best you would get at this point. And I do think it now shifts to where the raise can start to leverage a little bit with Cleveland and hey, it's a tough customer and Gavin Williams tomorrow. Make no mistake about it. Griffin Jacks looking like he's going to get the start. I'll be a Kevin Cash was kind of funny because I reserved the right to change my mind before I have to name an official starter. So it'll be he or Nick Martinez. If you would imagine in game three and game four, the combination of that, however, Kevin Cash wants to deploy it.

I do feel though that if you are Cleveland to have 20 hits in the first two games, did not see that coming against this vaunted Tampa Bay staff. But I think now as you move forward, what will happen with the, the no off day period? Now you're going to play three straight games. And the way that Stephen vote has deployed his bullpen resources to get to this point is a valuable off day yesterday and today for his big leverage arms and Cade Smith and Hunter Gaddis. Those guys have been worked to the bone.

Now how much can Stephen vote extend those guys? He's going to have to get a lot of length now from Gavin Williams, but eventually whoever starts game four and game five as well.
