Top of the hour, it is VSiN By The Books, Dave Ross right here at the Mid-Gaming Hall, Franklin, Kentucky, our closer Jensen Lewis back home in Cleveland, Ohio. Going to go down to the ATL, catch up with our guy, Ovie Mughelli, a little bit later on, talking all things Falcons. I know it's been a rough preseason. We'll see if the regular season outlook is a little bit better. Joe Lisi is going to join the program as we get ready for week in college football and beyond. So, so much football talk to get to. But a lot of things going on in baseball and just because it's football season, people, we still are dedicated every day to the Daily Diamond. So, let's get to this edition of the Daily Diamond.
It's been a monster series between the ATL and the Dodgers. And we get a monster pitching match up today here, Jensen. And I don't know if these two teams have designs of seeing each other somewhere down the road, but certainly possibly a playoff preview with two of their best on the bumps tonight.

**Jensen Lewis** (1:14)
Aces up is right, and you got two guys that are going really well at the moment. Now let's start on the Dodgers side. The critical loss yesterday for the Dodgers as the Braves now own the season series tie breaker. And that is massive when we look at where potential playoff implications are in not only that top two race, which if you look at where the standings are entering tonight, the Braves just two games back in the loss column of the Dodgers. Now basically you can cut that down because they have a game in hand with that season series tiebreaker as it pertains to tonight's matchup.
Yoshi Yamamoto going for the Dodgers, Chris Sale going for Atlanta. I am seeing six and a half's populating at DraftKings. Circus still has a seven, but my play is going to be on the home of Atlanta Braves and we're going to play with a little insurance here because Yoshi Yamamoto has been absolutely dominant and the Dodgers have won six consecutive road starts by Yamamoto. Here's where I want to go, Dave. I want to play two and a half units on the Braves alternate run line plus one at minus a dollar fifty one. And then I am going to take a unit on the Braves money line. They are a dollar six at Novig right now.
And so this is more a play on. I think the train finally comes to a halt as far as the road success for the Dodgers last night. Again, not what Dave Roberts and Company planned for because Sasaki left that start early, but also I think this Braves offense has figured it out at home. And I think they'll have an opportunity if they lay off that split finger from Yamamoto early, they can elevate the pitch count. They can find a way to get Chris Sale an early lead. And I realize the Braves have lost the last three consecutive starts for Chris Sale. But I think all that comes to a head tonight and Atlanta gets back on the right side. So two and a half unit play on the Braves and the alternate run line plus one at $1.51. And we'll take a unit shot on the money line for the Braves at minus $1.6.

And he said that all the choices have like given the ball to one guy in a game seven, who would he trust the most? He mentioned Yamamoto of the Dodgers. Very interesting that that's the guy he would go with over anybody else in Major League Baseball. I think some people might even take Jacob Mizorowski at this point, say, give me the kid in a high leverage game here. Not necessarily that against the Metropolitan's today, but the Brewers with the Miz back in the bump. And it does feel like we're starting that, I don't want to say spread them out process here before we get to October, if you're the Brew Crew, but Jensen, I think you're going to watch him closely, right? In games like this and not necessarily push him if you don't have to. How does that factor in, if at all, to your handicap?

**Jensen Lewis** (4:15)
We'll play Jacob Mizorowski and Shawn Manaya under tonight, seven and a half. And that price point for me was $1.26 at Novig, $1.25 at Circa, and it's already down to seven flat at DraftKings. Again, Bears repeating Mizorowski, the leader in the National League Cy Young Race, a Buck 85 ERA in his last six starts. Shawn Manaya has actually been pretty credible for what he's done as of late with the New York Mets. And again, still a young offense that is trying to prove itself for next year.
