VisionQuest Predictions, 3 Marvel Zombie Specials, Zodiac Confirmed : GV 723

Taylor Field (0:00)

9.30.

Travis Snell (0:47)

Hello ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 723rd episode of the GeekVerse Podcast.

I'm the Zombie Hunter, Travis Snell. I'm joined by...

Kirkland Patzer (0:57)

I'm the final season, Kirkman Patzer.

Taylor Field (1:00)

I'm the Michael Bay, Taylor Field. Yeah, I read your name is the final... Ah, I was gonna say. No, the final Sizzlin.

Kirkland Patzer (1:10)

That's cool. I like that. There's no L in there though.

Taylor Field (1:13)

There's no L, man, I look at it, yeah.

Kirkland Patzer (1:15)

No. I feel like my mind would go Sizzin.

Like, least on the mark. I feel like Sizzin would have been my guess. There's no L in there. I think people use that term, like, season, combat season, with like, like Sizzinin. No, season, season.

Taylor Field (1:35)

Can you vouch for that, Travis?

Kirkland Patzer (1:37)

He's Googling right now. He's asking chat. He's asking his AI companion.

Travis Snell (1:41)

Is it inconclusive? Inconclusive, the search.

His name, I just see, like, Dzone. That's what I see when I see some things with the Zed.

Kirkland Patzer (1:50)

Oh, yes. The single worst streaming app that I'm forced to purchase every year.

SPEAKER_5 (1:54)

It's Ettercrave.

Travis Snell (1:55)

But you know what?

I've lightened up on Dzone. You know why, Kirkland? Because in America, when I see everybody complaining of like, you won't watch this game, you got a Prime Video. You won't watch this game, you got to have this app. You know what? I take it all back. Because in Canada, for the Aussie NFL, it's split all over the place. It's getting worse and worse every year, because they know there's more money to be made. Canada, we got DeZone.

SPEAKER_4 (2:17)

App's not the greatest.

Travis Snell (2:19)

Has a bad cancellation fee where it's like, oh, you cancel it, you got to keep it to your subscription. Then the month after, it's terrible fucking gimmicky shit.

Streaming quality, I think it's getting a little better. I'm saying the app's getting better, but all the games are on that app. Whenever, wherever, so you know what?

I'll take it over what the Americans have to do with like, all these different to watch each game. So I'm pretty happy with that. Even though I think I'm not happy with the game tonight. Sam, I'm first in Sam, dropping a big 29 on me. Clean 29 to start the night. It's not looking good for me in the GV Fantasy League. I am Taylor, if you don't know this.

Kirkland Patzer (2:55)

I kicked his ass last week. I got my first win off that guy.

Travis Snell (2:59)

Yeah, you did, but I'm, so I'm missing Hubert, who's Hubert, Hubbard, however you say his name. Hubbard, he's been a huge MVP for me this season.

He was a later draft pick. He's been great for me. He's delivering big time. But Taylor, last year, I only won one game in the Fantasy League. It was brutal. This year, I'm 4-0 right now. I'm top of the heat. No one's beat me. I've beaten everybody that I've went up against.

Taylor Field (3:25)

How about this week?

Travis Snell (3:27)

Yeah, that's gonna be a mountain. Even when it started, it was like 35 to 65 But yeah, I'm missing some people. So Armistice is one guy. But yeah, Sam's got a powerhouse team. So you never know. It's any given Sunday, we'll see. But you know what, I'm gonna take it. I got my LaSat, Mardi Gras king picture up there. So I'm celebrating the forno and one.

Once you, you're watching Vampire, right Kirkland?

Kirkland Patzer (3:50)

I've seen a couple episodes. I wouldn't say I'm actively watching it, but I've seen a couple episodes.

Travis Snell (3:54)

You said you're waiting for Shay to get back. Is Shay still gone?

Kirkland Patzer (3:58)

We'll talk about it when we get to what we've been watching.

Travis Snell (4:01)

Great, he got to one episode and all that's it. Oh, and to clarify-

Taylor Field (4:05)

Don't like this, don't like this. Yeah, yeah, not my type of show.

Travis Snell (4:08)

Not my type of show.

Kirkland Patzer (4:10)

Where's Tom Cruise? Where's Tom Cruise?

Travis Snell (4:12)

I did get more details from my mom and luckily, not she swerved because she didn't know what I was saying, but I was like, what about Vampire? There's nothing to do with Tom Cruise on the movie. She's like, yeah, I just don't like shows and movies that take time in that, or take place in that time period. I was like, oh, okay, we're still in the clear.
