All right, there's this amazing book called Getting Everything You Can Out Of All You've Got. I read it a few years ago and it changed my life.
And the reason I loved it was because it basically talks about how to get and make more money using things that you already have.
Coincidentally, today's podcast is brought to you by Business Made Simple. It's a podcast by Donald Miller, who I'm gonna tell you about in a second, but he has this amazing episode that's all related to this book and the things that I learned in this book. It's called How To Make Money With What You Already Have. It's an incredible episode. It talks about all the stuff that I learned in this book. The host is Donald Miller. I didn't know who Donald Miller was up until recently, but over the last 12 months, this is totally by coincidence. It was all separate people. They said, you have to check out Donald Miller. He's amazing. So I'm happy that he's part of HubSpot's podcast network. You can check it out, Business Made Simple Podcast. It's where he coaches you on how to build your business like an airplane, where the cockpit is your leadership, the body is your overhead, the right engine is your marketing, the left engine is your sales.

I think you could reinvent Toastmasters. I feel like this is a business I could start if I wanted to, which is like, Toastmasters I think can be modernized. You don't have to have the oversized suit. You don't need the in-person meetups. I wrote Discord Toastmasters. I think you could do this whole thing in Zoom or Discord. I think you can just have people get into little chapters, practice this stuff, they kind of meet people, they kind of learn some techniques and they kind of get over their stage fright around public speaking. And the local ones ladder up into like the state ones, they ladder up into like the national ones, and some people compete at it. And you get your certificate after going through the program and it's like kind of a course, it's kind of a church, and it's kind of like a self-help seminar.
That I think could be recreated in a modern way using Discord. That's my idea, react to that.

I'm just going to read you the cold email because it was too good. He goes, it's like a ransom letter.
Yeah, I felt a little unsafe when I read this. He goes, I've clipped every MFM YouTube pod that has been released. Just all business straight to the end. He goes, hey, Sam and Sean, then again, and all bold. I've clipped every MFM podcast episode you've ever released. I'm 22, unemployed. I'm moving to Israel next month and I have nothing to lose. Just kidding. He didn't have that nothing to lose part, but that shit would have been a little dangerous. He says, I have nothing but 7K in savings.
