Hello, everybody, welcome to the Rotoworld Football Show on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026 I'm Patrick Daugherty, joined by Kyle Dvorchak. Denny Carter remains on vacation. No one's going to be on vacation soon in the NFL world. Everyone's coming back. Training camps are beginning. And as such, Kyle and I thought it'd be a good day. Just take a look at 10 or so training camp battles. We're really monitoring as practice ramps up. Quarterback, receiver, running back, Kyler versus JJ. McCarthy in Minnesota, if that's even a real competition, Tua versus Penix in Atlanta. Who the Jaguars wide receiver one actually is, who the Packers wide receiver two is, who's stepping up in Miami, who's stepping up in Tampa Bay. What's going on going on in the Broncos backfield? All that and more when we come back right after this.
Kyle, we're going to get in to the training camp competitions in just a second. But I said Denny was on vacation. I'm not trying to mislead people because I feel like I've been misled.
Supposedly on vacation, supposedly his final show away from us. I foolishly actually believed that Denny was on vacation. I believed it this time.
Very famously, Denny's never been to the Super Bowl. We have a huge production budget for some reason for making it appear as if Denny's at the Super Bowl. But I thought maybe he was actually taking time off with his family going to Greece and taking two weeks away as we gear up for the 2026 NFL season. But our world has been rocked on Thursday. Evidence that Denny has remained in America all along, on a Maryland soundstage all along, and that he's just photoshopping his trip to Greece. And you're watching on YouTube, you can see the photo right now, the fakest photo of all time. Of Denny, first of all, pouring red wine into a shot glass.
They don't actually do that in Greece. Like I've been there a bunch of time. No, I don't know. I guess they must do that in Greece. But if you're listening, which I know a lot of you are, you got to look up the photo.

It looks so photoshopped because it is photoshopped. Kyle, do you believe Denny is actually on vacation?

**Kyle Dvorchak** (2:22)
No, absolutely not. I think a few people on Blue Sky have pointed out that they have the originals of this shot. It's just a green screen. It's a sound stage. I think if you look around enough, you'll find Denny in the mocap suit. So if they need to do any like, oh no, I really look at me pouring the wine. Look at me interacting with the locals where he never actually touches them. They never cross paths. They have the shot of him in the Planet of the Apes, the Andy Serkis thoughts all over his face and body. They have all of that. It's a crazy expensive production just to fake the fact that he left his house. But I do credit the technology employed.
Even if you don't like the modern movies coming out, the fact that technology is pushed as far as they have, it's impressive and that's what we're dealing with here.

The special effects are finally getting better again. The Marvel needs to look in to whatever CGI Denny is using. The Marvel CGI, no offense to our competitors at Disney, has been looking kind of rough in the past.

**Kyle Dvorchak** (3:16)
They gave up, like they gave up.

**Patrick Daugherty** (3:19)
They need whatever Denny's got. Kyle and I love our jobs, but Denny being gone for two weeks creates a bit of an extra burden, a bit of an extra workload. We were happy when we thought he was with his family in Greece, a little less so now that he's gone into hiding.

**Kyle Dvorchak** (3:32)
What is he doing? Clearly he's not in Greece, that's been a lie. We've established that. What is he doing? Does he just not want to hang out with us?

**Patrick Daugherty** (3:39)
He's at a safe house. He's hiding from Braylon Allen and a user on Blue Sky did point out, you aren't throwing Braylon Allen off your scent with these fake pictures. He's going to be doing bench press reps in your driveway this weekend. Denny thinks Braylon's going to believe I'm in Europe. Braylon's not fooled at all, Denny, and neither are we. Neither are our listeners. What a disservice to our audience. They love Denny. He just did fake disappears for two weeks.
Really quite untoward, quite sorted.
But Denny, wherever you're coming back from, we look forward to your return on Tuesday, I guess. But you have some explaining to do.
