Oh, what do you think Tom Clancy's novels would look like if he had to write about military and special operations in 2026?

I think it would just be pretty darn sad. What was the main character, Jack Ryan? You know, Hunt for Red October, Red Storm Rising, you know, all of those old military books that made you proud and excited to be an American, to want to go out there and to defend your country. Remember that? Remember the 1980s? I remember those days. I'm really starting to miss those days.

So, yeah, this apparently is what we were getting out of our Zero-T military, right? So one of the big problems I see out of the Trump administration, again, Hegseth and all this other horse shit, right? Because Zero-T commanders, commandos, is everything they do looks like a really shitty 1980s movie. Really, I do. I am starting to feel that way. I'm starting to feel like maybe it's like the Truman Show, and I don't know, we're descending into some 1980s movie hellscape right now. And how just idiotic so much of the crap is out of these wannabe movie stars. Again, we've heard this from Hegseth, right? Hegseth is all about testing all of our soldiers for testosterone, right? IT soldiers. Which again, if you talk with any doctors or anything else, there's a hell of a lot of questions, right? Giving our soldiers testosterone supplements is highly questionable. Whether or not testosterone supplements will actually make them more effective warriors is actually also highly questionable. And one of the things I brought up before is again, if Hegseth actually gave two shits about our men and women in uniform, right? He would, again, if he wants to laser focus the military medical establishment on something, it should be on joint fucking injuries, right? Knees, motherfucker, knees. That's what the military needs to care about. When I, when I was in the army, so many of my friends, so many of the people I cared about got drummed out of the army because of their fucking knees. As I talked about before, I got medically discharged out of the army. I got a P3 permanent profile for fucking up my wrist, right? Literally went to the orthopedic surgeon for, Fort Bragg was sitting in front of him and he said, yeah, well, here's the thing. We could do surgery. I'm like, sir, yes, sir. He's like, yeah, here's the deal. We do surgery on you. There is a 50% chance we're going to make it worse.

I'm like, what, excuse me? Yeah, so 50% chance you're going to make it better? I mean, well, no, it's 50% chance we're going to make it worse. And then out of the 50% that's left, maybe we don't do anything at all. Maybe we make it better. But there's a 50% chance we're going to make it worse. And so the military was like, here is a decent size check. Do you want to take it and go the fuck away? I was like, you know what? I will take your check and go the fuck away. Thank you very much. And one of the things I've thought about for a long time is we need better health care in the military medical system. Military medical is a fucking goddamn disaster. If we want to support our troops, we need to improve military medical. And that has very little to do with fucking testosterone, right? If that is one of the things, if you're like, here are the 99 ways we're going to improve military medical, and, and if soldier sailors, the whole nine yards, right, are having problems with energy or any of these other testosterone type issues, then they can also get testosterone treatment, right? That's one, that's one of the other 99 solutions that they're implementing. Great. But again, it's Hegseth. Hegseth doesn't give a fuck about your knees. Hegseth doesn't give a fuck about wrists. Hegseth doesn't give a fuck about PTSD or brain injuries. Hegseth doesn't give a fuck about burn pits. Hegseth doesn't give a fuck about what is actually shredding our men and women in uniform. What he does care about is looking like a really impressive military person out of a really shitty 1980s Rambo movie. Rambo 8, the high-T mission, right? Anyways, so he's doing this high-T stuff. But what I think is really, again, not interesting per se, but what we're seeing more and more out of the Trump administration is all of this movie, this movie, it's not even jingoism, movie jingoism. And the concerning part is, with everything, whether it's testosterone or whether it's AI systems, these aren't real things. These aren't real things. They have real effects that you need to think about what you're doing before you deploy them into the field, especially en masse. And the problem that I see at this administration is, no, they're just, they're just going to say, oh, this looks cool, use it. And that is where we get into these particular situations.
