Welcome to Two Sixteen, A Link to the Past Randomizer Podcast. I am your host, Fear Agent. Today, we've got a list of guests. We are back doing a draft. I don't even know, actually, what I called this draft. This is, I guess, the Zelda draft.
We're gonna be drafting a bunch of different categories, different links, different villains, different games. On the show today, I've got a bunch of excellent people. All have been on the show in the past. Let me introduce them really quick. Joining me in, we'll do Alphabetic Order, Armalex.

Yeah, thanks for having me back for another draft. I thought you were gonna introduce me as Chicago's number two guy with the way that setup was going, but yeah, super excited to be back for another draft.

Howdy. Thank you so much for having me. I think it was serendipitous that I happened to actually be on Discord when you put out the call for people.
And I was like, I will heed that call. And now I'm here and thank you so much for having me.

Yeah, I'm so excited to have you back on the show. Just doing what you do best, podcasting. So we are going to draft today.
Basically, the category is Legend of Zelda. So the categories that we are going to be drafting from today are Link. You get to draft a Link from any of the games, a Villain slash Enemy from any of the games, an Item from any of the games, Dungeon from any of the games, a Song, that could be literally any Song from any of the games. We have the game itself. You get to draft which game you think is probably your favorite, and then Wild Card. So let me ask you before we start the draft, and feel free to answer any of you, how much preparation for this did you do?
Is there certain categories that you don't have to say which? You're hoping to get?

I would say I've had a document open on and off for the last like two or three days. I initially sat down and brainstormed as much as I could have just like, okay, these are the songs, these are the games, I got to have those up.
I would say I've got a medium-sized list of things that I'm looking out for, that I don't think is exhaustive. I'm also prepared to just think of something off the top and be like, wait a second, I have to draft that right now. So a little bit of prep, but also just a little bit of just trying to like be light on my toes here.

Yeah, similar to Tim, I kind of started and I basically was like, if I can get to five A or S tier options in a category, I just kind of gave up and stopped there and figured like, yeah, everyone else is going to get something good, like where are we going to be stretched in? And then from there, figure out like, what do I actually want to draft? And what things do I actually care about talking about? Because that's really the whole point is we get to gap about whatever our favorite things in Zelda are.

Yeah, same for me. I think I had to do a little bit of research just because like my memory is like from when I was a kid and then from the last few years. So there's a lot there in the middle that I had to just kind of rehash.
Oh yeah, I remember that now.
