And the US has been launching strikes on Iranian targets as tensions escalate. On a slightly different note, former President Trump has announced new tariffs on generic drugs that will take effect in 2028 And there's been a lot of discussion about how this could impact the pharmaceutical industry in the coming years. Now, for some weird news. An 82 year old widow in North Carolina had to be rescued after spending nine days stuck in her bathtub. Thankfully, she's okay and regaining her strength now. So there's definitely a lot going on with Donald Trump at the moment with Stikes.
One of the big recent stories is that he made headlines at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. He actually got booed by a pretty vocal crowd while he was at the event. It seems like the crowd wasn't too happy about his involvement in the trophy presentation. And there was some controversy around him asking FIFA to overturn a suspension for a US player earlier in the tournament.

Sure thing. The situation around Iran's nuclear site is pretty tense at the moment. President Trump has reportedly threatened to strike a fortified underground nuclear facility known as the Pickaxe Mountain Complex in Innetanz.
This facility is a heavily fortified site that reportedly houses Iran's uranium enrichment centrifuges. The complex is built deep underground, making it a challenging target. And the UAE has been carrying out nightly strikes against Iranian military targets for over a week now, where the Iranians are trying to counter this network of facilities. Israel and Western Intelligence have indicated that Iran might have moved a substantial number of centrifuges to this Pickaxe Mountain site last year, which raises concerns about Iran's ability to quickly rebuild parts of its nuclear program, even after attacks on other facilities. All of this is adding to the already tense atmosphere, with Iran threatening to retaliate if the US strikes this particular site.
