Hey, it's Sunday night from six till seven. That means we're here for True Crime Tonight. That also means move the children away.
Okay, it's true crime. All right, we've got stuff coming up as always tonight. We have like, we're going to talk about documentaries that you may have seen, may not have seen, maybe want to see. And we're also going to talk to Jess Rigby about her brother-in-law, Jason Rigby, who died in Fiji. We've had a few of these lately, haven't we Matthew? A few family members of people who've died overseas. And it's always shocking how little help they get.

Yeah, you really would expect as Australian citizens, you would have the support of your government if a loved one dies overseas. But not the case. It seems like you just have to advocate and advocate every step of the way to get any movement.

**Meshel Laurie** (1:30)
Before this, I would have thought Penny Wong would have been on a plane and over to get deported for you, you know, and that is not the case. Also, we find out there's a lot of diplomatic issues at play. It depends on the country and what other agreements and deals and things our government has with their government and whether or not they're friendly, all those things. We all go to Fiji. It's so close. It's in our backyard, but yes, another story of it being really difficult.
But next up, I've got to tell you about what's going on in my neighborhood. You're not going to believe it. True Crime is very much happening. I know it's happening in everyone's neighborhoods. That's kind of the point of the show and the podcast, but it's happening loudly in my neighborhood. I'm going to tell you what's happening after this.

Now, I have had a little bit of time off this week, and so I've been catching up on all the local goss around the neighborhood. And I know this freaks you out, Ruby, but I always talk about the neighborhood that I live in, which is Altoona. And I always tell you not to name where you're living. It's about two decades too late, but I just really love it here so much. I love where I live so much. But, and this is not going to change the fact that I love it, but there has been a bit of, I've always known, there's sort of three parts to Altoona. Okay, there's Altoona proper, there's Altoona Meadows, around the bend, and then up, just a little bit up north, there's Altoona North, right? As you would expect. Altoona North, and I'm going to say Altoona Meadows, have always been a bit spicy. The kids call them a bit spicy. Certainly we lived in Altoona Meadows for some years, and we did have a drug dealer living across the road from us, and to be honest, the only annoying thing about that for me was that they went through a phase where his clients would leave like KFC wrappers in our front yard. I hate that. That was really annoying for me and the neighbors. I was like, guys, you go about your business, I'm going about my business in here with these kids and cats, but I don't need to be cleaning up your garbage.
Every neighborhood has its moments, and my little corner of Altoona has its moments, of course, it's not perfect, but Altoona North is a particular moment. And I've been aware for some time that some people involved in the tobacco wars have lived in Altoona North. We've had a few firebombings over the journey. We've had a few shootings over the journey, but we've had two in the last two weeks here. While you've been off. Yes. I know that sounds very suspicious. Yeah, I know. Are you involved?
