This episode is brought to you by Wayfair. Home should be a place that feels like a sanctuary, a space that truly reflects who you are. But it can be challenging to balance style, budget and endless options. I was looking to create a dedicated, calm space for my morning meditation and reading, but I was struggling to find pieces that felt grounding, but could also stand up to daily use. I went on Wayfair and found a beautiful, solid wood accent chair and a bookshelf. Now, that corner is my favorite place to anchor my day. The quality is incredible, it's built to last, and it completely shifted the energy of the room. Ever since I moved here eight years ago, it has been my favorite restaurant, is where I take all my friends, whether they eat me or don't eat me, and it is easily hands down the best vegan restaurant in the world.
**Travis Barker** (2:43)
So I love to hear it. Yeah, I really feel like it is one of the best vegan restaurants in LA for vegans and non-vegans. Just good food.
**Jay Shetty** (2:53)
I agree, good vibes too.
**SPEAKER_3** (2:54)

It's good to finally meet you. I feel like I've missed you a couple of times in the same room or not really come across you, but getting to watch this documentary and getting to experience you in such an intimate way, I just wanted to say, first of all, thank you for making it. Thank you for allowing us in. I really hope that this interview allows you an opportunity to share the inner workings and the inner dialogue that you've been experiencing for the past few decades of entertaining us but also living life. But yeah, thank you for putting that together.
**Travis Barker** (4:02)
Thank you for watching it and being a part of this whole process of talking about it.
**Jay Shetty** (4:07)
Yeah. I want to start by saying, I was just sharing with you outside. When I sit down with someone, Travis, I'm always fascinated by who we were and how we became. So one of my favorite questions to ask people is, what's a childhood memory that you have that you think defines who you are today?
**Travis Barker** (4:22)
Just like the first time I played drums and the love I had for drums and the love my parents had for me drumming, that was the magic of it all really. Then my parents being so, at the time probably a little hard on me, disciplining me to practice all the time, which was the best thing they could have ever done for me. I think some parents feel bad to try to motivate their children to practice something they love doing, or even something they share with them. I want to be good at this. I mean, the best thing my parents could have done is say, then you got to practice. You got to practice two hours every day before you go skateboarding or go ride BMX bikes. That was everything to me.
