Big news, Cass.

SPEAKER_2 (0:16)

Big news.

SPEAKER_3 (0:17)

It's official.

Garrett (0:17)

We are hosting our first live event, The Big Wedding Game Show. I tried to edit what the name was, like my big fat wedding game show from my Greek wedding.

Cass (0:29)

The Big Wedding Game Show. I'm very excited about it. Yeah.

Garrett (0:31)

November 10th. It will be at a new venue that is available for couples looking to get married in the Pittsburgh area called The Matrimony in downtown.

Cass (0:40)

Yes.

Garrett (0:41)

Very Vegas vibes. Yeah.

Cass (0:42)

It's like a Vegas style chapel almost. It's very kitschy, very Pittsburgh, very over the top. A lot of reds, cheetah print, blues.

Garrett (0:52)

There's a little photo booth area near the back that was an old like.

Cass (0:55)

Bank vault.

Garrett (0:56)

Bank vault.

Cass (0:56)

It's so cool.

Garrett (0:57)

They have, instead of like Jesus being presented next to the actual, like where you would get married at, they have Mr. Rogers.

SPEAKER_6 (1:05)

So pretty, pretty cool.

Garrett (1:07)

So if you are interested in attending, it is happening November 10th.

Doors open at 6 The game show starts at 7 Yes. We will have really all kinds of cool different stuff. We're going to have some.

Cass (1:19)

We're going to have some fun vendors during the cocktail hour, some interactive stations, good food. The drinks are included, food is included, the show is included. We'll do a little meet and greet afterwards.

And we just want you to come and have a really good time.

SPEAKER_2 (1:34)

Yeah, well, make your day worth it.

Garrett (1:37)

Yeah. It's on a what?

SPEAKER_2 (1:38)

Tuesday.

Cass (1:39)

It's on a Tuesday. It's the night before Veterans Day. So some people may have work off the next day.

SPEAKER_2 (1:43)

So maybe they're turning up.

Cass (1:46)

You never know. No, but I'm excited. I think it will be really fun. And anybody that enters the door could get called up to compete in the challenges and the game shows.

So it's not just like a select group of people. There's going to be lots of different games, lots of different opportunities, fun prizes.

Garrett (2:01)

And bring your own wig. We won't provide wigs, but there might be one of the last games.

Cass (2:07)

There's definitely going to be wigs. I don't know what exactly, but we're still working through all of that. But by the time this episode comes out, the information and the tickets will be available.

Garrett (2:16)

Yeah, you'll see the link in the YouTube on your channel, my channel, and you can go ahead and purchase them. Come attend, come win a game.

Cass (2:24)

Come meet us and come have a good time.

Garrett (2:27)

Other than that, we are enjoying the cold weather in the morning, cold weather at night, maybe a little. Sometimes I got to turn the AC on in the afternoon.

Cass (2:35)

It's I'm not loving the summer day part.

Garrett (2:37)

No, I like the sun, but I turn the AC on before we left because I knew it would be like 75 by the time we get out and get back to our house. Dogs will be just cooking in there. Halloween decorations got set up.

Neighbors complimented. I think we have a good little set up, a little purple, a little bit of orange.

Cass (2:54)

You put a lot of love into what the decorations are for all the seasons.

Garrett (2:57)

I mean, it's not like much that I've done. I put three inflatables, a little bit of string lights around the front porch area.

Cass (3:03)

It's festive.

Garrett (3:04)

Very festive, very festive. Looking forward to October 31st, our neighborhood does Halloween night trick or treating, always on the night of Halloween. I didn't have that growing up. Neither did I. It was always whatever the Saturday was closest. Sometimes it's in November. Sometimes it's October 24th, 25th, maybe. Because if it was 24th, Saturday would be.

Cass (3:24)

I also like that it's evening. You get a little bit of daytime and then a little bit of nighttime. Where when I trick or treated, it was always 12 to 2 during the day on a Sunday or something. So I like the night vibes and I like that it's on Halloween.

Garrett (3:37)

Yeah. And I'll take the kids down to my parents to do the Halloween parade and then I'll skip that trick or treating because my mom just gives them a whole basket of it. But whenever we go in our neighborhood, we go with our kids. I leave the candy to the side for anyone to pick up and they just grab all the candy. But I'll rely on our neighbor Steve to monitor and he's not going to yell at everybody because he's a good neighbor.
