This episode is brought to you by Verst. Guys wear that guys wear. This Father's Day Verst has something for dads who can activate vacation mode anytime, anywhere. The Verst Resort Collection. First it's tall enough for a tropical getaway or a well-earned staycation. For dads who turn a grill into a buffet with a click of the tongs, a backyard into a waterpark with just a sprinkler, and are definitely not asleep on the couch.
They're resting their eyes.
Verst. Fit for dads. Only at Dix.

Time for the best five defenders of round 13 of AFL Action. And these boys, even though the rules are set up for the forwards and the midfielders, these boys are still having outstanding seasons.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:45)
Still doing pretty well. And I think almost the title holder in name for the year is on this list as well. He's at number one.

**Mark Duffield** (0:53)
Jarman Impi.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:54)
Yep, I think so.

**Mark Duffield** (0:54)
That's how Mark Howard would say it, isn't it? Yeah, Jarman Impi.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:58)
Yeah, it's not good, but he would say it like that.

**Mark Duffield** (1:02)
Probably in line for all Australian selection, I think, having a great year for Hawthorne. 29 disposals, 11 marks, 407 metres gained, nine contested possessions, nine intercept possessions, four score involvements against the Western Bulldogs.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:17)
Number two.

**Mark Duffield** (1:18)
Darcy Wilmot. I reckon it'd be interesting to see who's winning Brisbane's best and fairest. Yeah. Because I reckon this guy would be either one or two.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:25)
Ashcroft. No, just because.

**Mark Duffield** (1:28)
I reckon it's either the Lockie Neil or this bloke. 25 disposals, nine marks, 517 metres gained, 10 intercept possessions. And when the rest of his teammates have put the tools down, Darcy has kept playing. He's going well.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:42)
He works through lunch. This guy was back in form last weekend. Number three.

**Mark Duffield** (1:45)
Asava Radigalia. So probably the difference in the end in the Port Adelaide West Coast game. West Coast kept on kicking the ball to him, and he kept on marking it. 16 disposals, 9 marks, 4 tackles, 12 intercept possessions, 4 contested marks. So a big game, turning the ball around and sending it back the other way.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:05)
Number four from West Coast Eagles.

**Mark Duffield** (2:07)
Tom McCarthy, really neat player, really quick. He understands where the space is. So when he gets the ball under pressure, he can break quickly into the space, which gives him time to use the ball. And he's a good ball user. 31 disposals, 11 marks, 590 metres gained, 7 intercept possessions, 4 score involvements.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:25)
Number five.

**Mark Duffield** (2:25)
So I'm really pleased to see this guy's name here. Zach Reid. So he's one of the three top 10 draft picks from 2020 You would have previously said Essendon are just about for 3 from those top 10 picks. But the fact Zach Reid can play a game like this gives you hope if he can stay out there. He's had soft tissue issues. A goal, 21 disposals, 10 marks, 394 metres gained, 9 intercept possessions. And he can play if his body will hold up. Of course, he's the brother of Archer at the West Coast.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:55)
And apologies this week.

**Mark Duffield** (2:57)
Bailey Dale had to pick one of Impey and Bailey Dale, and I went with Impey.

**SPEAKER_3** (3:02)
Okay.

**Mark Duffield** (3:03)
And also Jake Lever, very solid for Melbourne. And John Noble having a prolific year for Gold Coast.
