All right. It is Wednesday and we are live. It is September the 23rd.
Are we supposed to see some sun today?
Scott (2:20)
I don't know.
Moon (2:21)
Yeah, man.
Mary Beth (2:22)
It was beautiful yesterday. The sun came out for like a split second.
Rizz (2:25)
I know. I think people are sad.
I haven't seen the sun in two days. I'm sad. It's getting to people, guys. It's getting to people. People are salty. We can't be half of that.
Rafe (2:38)
Already?
Rizz (2:39)
Already.
Rafe (2:40)
Man, it's almost... It's been two days. no pleasing people. No.
Rizz (2:45)
It's been two days.
Scott (2:46)
But also, don't you want fall to start this way, where it feels like fall?
Rizz (2:49)
It does. It does feel a little like fall.
Rafe (2:51)
I love it.
Rizz (2:54)
The doom and gloom?
Rafe (2:54)
Yes, it would be nice to have some moderate temps, but...
Rizz (2:57)
Okay. And a little sunshine?
Rafe (3:00)
Yeah, whatever. Don't be 100 degrees. I'm cool.
Rizz (3:04)
Dude, I did something yesterday at that.
Rafe (3:05)
I should be grateful for that.
Rizz (3:06)
I did something yesterday at that. I felt like it was illegal.
Mary Beth (3:10)
Oh my gosh. What was it?
Rizz (3:11)
I renewed my plates online.
Mary Beth (3:13)
Amazing, right?
Moon (3:14)
I'm so jealous.
Mary Beth (3:15)
Isn't it the most amazing technology that's ever existed?
Scott (3:19)
First time.
Moon (3:20)
It's the greatest thing that came to be just in time for Missouri to do this thing for EVs where they make me go in every year and pay a fuel tax for a sticker.
Scott (3:29)
Oh, you've got to go in so you're not eligible?
Moon (3:31)
I've got to go in every year. I said, I can't just do it for two years or three years. You can do it from plate. No, we need you to come in every year.
Rizz (3:39)
We need you to come in to drop that check off.
Mary Beth (3:41)
This is interesting that we're talking about this scenario in a different thing. I was with a dermatologist the other day, and I have a prescription that I'm on Spirolactone for my hormonal acne. And I have to go in every three months to get the refill. And I finally was like, why do I have to do this? And finally now we'll be doing once a year to make sure that things are going well.
Rizz (4:01)
I've tried the online plate renewal before.
Scott (4:04)
And every time-
Moon (4:05)
QR code, right? It comes on the little card?
Scott (4:06)
Yes.
Rizz (4:07)
It comes on the card, and you just go on to that website.
Mary Beth (4:10)
And it's because you have a newer car and your emissions are all good and everything's perfect, right? So it's my wife's car. Okay.
Rizz (4:15)
So a 2020 Toyota Highlander. And I've tried before and it's always like, you're missing something, you need to come in.
Mary Beth (4:21)
Yes.
Rizz (4:23)
So my wife went to get the emissions test yesterday. She came home, she goes, I got it done. I go, all right, let's see if this works.
Moon (4:28)
I thought we were getting rid of that.
Rizz (4:30)
No, it's still required.
Moon (4:32)
Okay.
Rizz (4:33)
There's been talk. Okay. We haven't pulled the trigger on that yet.
Mary Beth (4:35)
Missouri is a mess.
Rafe (4:37)
So how do you get the emissions test proven online to get your plates?
