Todd Can't Let It Go

Chrisley Confessions 2.0

October 7, 2026

Todd and Julie are back, and this week starts with a very normal Chrisley disagreement: cold barbecue, forgotten hangers, a trip to the mall, and Todd answering Savannah’s phone call right in the middle of recording.

Welcome to Chrisley Confessions 2.0. How are you? 2.0. How are you? See, she's still bitter.

It really shows, and at your age, you should not be doing that.

Julie Chrisley (0:13)

And why you got that shade about age? What is somebody that's like, what is somebody that's big on age? What is those people called?

Todd Chrisley (0:20)

It's not about age for me. Okay.

Julie Chrisley (0:22)

Well, you always say shade about me being old.

Todd Chrisley (0:25)

That never became an issue when we first got together. I never had a problem dating someone older.

Julie Chrisley (0:31)

Exactly, because in your mind, you've not gotten older, but I have.

Todd Chrisley (0:36)

Yeah, I didn't feel like that.

Julie Chrisley (0:39)

Well, if we went by you, you and your kids would be the same age, so.

Todd Chrisley (0:43)

Good. We finished our last podcast last week. Of you leaving the world thinking that I'm an angry Todd. I'm not an angry Todd.

I just, you misconstrued anger with me just not giving a shit. That's not true. I think that you have been conditioned all these years to a certain way of how I'm going to respond. And now I'm not responding that way. And that makes you angry. Yeah, because I got to be angry. Yeah, because you do get angry because I'm not responding the way that I used to respond to things because you have said multiple times. Well, you just don't give a shit.

Now how many times have you said that to me?

Julie Chrisley (1:27)

Because you want to flip the script 31 years later.

Todd Chrisley (1:31)

But that's growth.

Julie Chrisley (1:33)

Okay. Okay. I'll give you growth.

Todd Chrisley (1:35)

You don't.

Julie Chrisley (1:35)

I'll give you growth.

SPEAKER_3 (1:36)

Your daughter is trying to call you.

Todd Chrisley (1:42)

I'm in the middle of recording.

Savannah Chrisley (1:43)

I need you to come over, dad, because I need help with landscaping. There's a problem. Okay.

Todd Chrisley (1:47)

Well, I'm in the middle of recording.

Savannah Chrisley (1:49)

Okay. Well, there's something about a gas line, and this just doesn't sound like I'm going to get what we need. I'm going to just tuck it on my tree. It was my good tree for Christmas.

Todd Chrisley (2:01)

Did you just hear me say I'm recording?

Julie Chrisley (2:04)

And I think I said something about the gas line again right there.

Savannah Chrisley (2:08)

Oh, should have known. Momma's now a gas line expert.

Todd Chrisley (2:12)

Yeah. Well, yes, I will be up there after I finish recording. But listen, did you not say if something happened, God forbid, with your mother, that you would not want me to be by myself?

Savannah Chrisley (2:25)

Now, you know I'll run for you at any day, but I did not say that. I said I'd make your life hell.

Todd Chrisley (2:30)

Savannah.

Savannah Chrisley (2:32)

I said I would make your life a living hell.

Todd Chrisley (2:34)

Savannah, your mother said that I would be with somebody before she was even cold.

Savannah Chrisley (2:41)

I mean, I don't know about that. He may let you, you know, get cold.

Todd Chrisley (2:47)

See, that just, there you go. There you go.

Savannah Chrisley (2:50)

I mean, like my partner said that he wouldn't want me to be alone and he wants me to be with somebody, like when something happens to him. But like the feeling isn't mutual.

Todd Chrisley (3:01)

So you want him to be sad and lonely? Yeah.

Savannah Chrisley (3:03)

He can't be with somebody else.

Todd Chrisley (3:04)

Yeah. Well, he and I don't feel that same way.

Savannah Chrisley (3:08)

He can't be with somebody else. I will come back and haunt them both.

Todd Chrisley (3:12)

Everyone has an expiration date.

Yeah. And when, well, I can't say anything about him because he clearly has outstepped his coverage. But if something happened to your mother, I'm certainly not going to get, you know, a two day old loaf of bread.

Savannah Chrisley (3:28)

Oh, my God. Okay. I'm not worried about that. None of y'all are dying soon. I'm just worried about my gas line.

Todd Chrisley (3:34)

So it's all about you. But listen, let me finish my episode and I'll call you back.

Julie Chrisley (3:38)

Bye.

Todd Chrisley (3:39)

Who? She just kept right on going. Who does that shit?

Julie Chrisley (3:42)

You're recording an episode of this podcast. You take your daughter's call in the middle of the episode.

Todd Chrisley (3:48)

She freed me from the clutches of the feds.

Julie Chrisley (3:51)
