It is five o'clock somewhere, time to open up the Happy Hour Bar, Michelle Beatle, Matthew Berry, and Starr Fanya Bell at Stephania L Bell on X. Stephania Bell, joining us live here in the Happy Hour, here on the Happy Hour, the pregame lounge as well.
Starr Fanya, great to see you. Welcome.
Stephania Bell (0:30)
Thank you. I'm so honored to be in the lounge as if you are officially our first in studio guest.
Matthew Berry (0:37)
I am.
Michelle Beatle (0:38)
I'm so touched.
Stephania Bell (0:39)
I'm honored.
Matthew Berry (0:40)
You know who we had on earlier in the show in the first hour? We had Nat Coombs.
Stephania Bell (0:44)
I saw that because I was getting ready. And I saw it. Yeah, Nat Coombs.
Matthew Berry (0:49)
Don't you ever move from London. Yes.
Stephania Bell (0:52)
You're international. Yeah. Like the show is already international.
Matthew Berry (0:55)
Nat Coombs told me that there are a ton of Beatle Maniacs in London.
Dwain McFarland (1:00)
I don't believe that.
Matthew Berry (1:02)
We need to get Beatle over there. He was just being very nice. She could get mobbed.
Stephania Bell (1:07)
Not to be confused with Beatle Maniacs.
Matthew Berry (1:09)
No, no.
Michelle Beatle (1:09)
Beatle Maniacs.
Matthew Berry (1:11)
They love them some, Michelle. She's the bee's knees over there. She's the bee's knees everywhere. As both of you are, Stephania, thank God you're here.
Stephania Bell (1:20)
You know, I saw Michelle more recently than I've seen you.
Matthew Berry (1:23)
I know you guys were hanging out in Vegas, but she said it's her favorite town.
Stephania Bell (1:25)
It's a great town.
Matthew Berry (1:26)
You don't even know what was happening there. Beth is going to be mad she were cheating on her.
Stephania Bell (1:30)
I know. You know, you could step out. We get Beth come in and you know-
Matthew Berry (1:33)
Believe me, Beth would be very happy about that.
Beth would be very happy about that. She'd much prefer to spend time with the two of you. Be like, you go away. You deal with our daughters. All right. But thank God you're here, Stephania, because there's been so many injuries.
Michelle Beatle (1:49)
Yeah.
Matthew Berry (1:49)
Yeah.
Michelle Beatle (1:50)
Where do you even want to start?
Stephania Bell (1:52)
I think I'm looking in the right direction as I see this jersey. I know.
Matthew Berry (1:57)
Jane Daniels, we should, I guess before, just because this is a podcast, right? So the second hour of Roku, this is the Fantasy Football Happy Hour podcast. The regulars are all going crazy in the Discord as well. So please join that as well. But let's talk a little bit before we get to all your injuries. I just want to talk about this, the bronze game from last night. We talked about it in the first hour from an overall perspective, but fantasy-wise, Deshaun Watson, believe it or not, so far this year, top 12 among quarterbacks in yards per pass attempt. They looked good.
This offense looks competent.
Michelle Beatle (2:32)
It's weird how you're hesitant to say it. I understand why, but it is sort of like...
Matthew Berry (2:38)
We thought the Steelers defense was good, and 372 yards against Pittsburgh for Deshaun Watson and the bronze offense.
Stephania Bell (2:45)
I think they shocked everyone, including Pittsburgh, who didn't seem to be prepared for the quarterback, that they might lose that game. I thought, to me, for fantasy purposes, remember preseason, there was a lot of concern about who do you take from the browns, how can you trust the browns when you don't know what the quarterback situation is? And now there's apparently people you can trust on the offense.
Matthew Berry (3:06)
Denzel Boston's averaging 71 yards per game, over 21 yards, another nice game for him. Casey Concepcion, I know Watson continues to look... They're going to find ways to get... I feel like this breakout game is going... All the usage is there for Casey Concepcion. It just hasn't... It was a solid game, 11 fantasy points in PPR.
Didn't have the huge game that we would have liked, but I'll say that I think that Boston is a very viable wide receiver three. I would say hang on tight to Casey Concepcion. I think Harold Fanon, clearly a tight end one. Great.
And Quinchon Judkins. I mean, to me, that was the most interesting thing here. So far this year, Quinchon Judkins, who we didn't expect to be a big part of the passing game, 14% target share. Again, Watson is willing to dump it off to him. He plays a lot. He scores the touchdown. He looked good. He's a rock solid RB too.
