Hello, and welcome to Smosh Reads Reddit Stories. I'm Shayne, and today's theme is wild. Wild stories, and I'm joined by two of the wildest people on the internet and in the entertainment industry. Please welcome Angela and special guest, Lisa Gilroy.
Hey, settle down! Not in, you can't get too wild yet, OK?
Angela Giarratana (0:31)
Sorry. You better be careful.
Lisa Gilroy (0:33)
She'll take the iPad.
Shayne Topp (0:35)
I know. I fully know.
Lisa, thank you so much for being here.
Lisa Gilroy (0:40)
Thank you for having me. Sorry you're already mad at me.
Shayne Topp (0:42)
It's OK.
Lisa Gilroy (0:43)
But what can I do?
Shayne Topp (0:45)
Aw, you love Lisa!
Lisa Gilroy (0:47)
And this is my little baby, by the way.
SPEAKER_4 (0:48)
Oh, nice. Yeah.
Lisa Gilroy (0:50)
She's just little, so try to be nice to her.
SPEAKER_4 (0:53)
I will be nice to her. You OK?
Lisa Gilroy (0:55)
You hungry?
Angela Giarratana (0:57)
OK.
OK. That's what I do.
Lisa Gilroy (0:59)
I ask her if she's hungry, and then I just ignore them.
SPEAKER_4 (1:02)
OK.
Lisa Gilroy (1:03)
OK, well, hold it.
SPEAKER_4 (1:04)
All right.
Shayne Topp (1:06)
Lisa, how familiar are you with Reddit?
Lisa Gilroy (1:08)
Slash ShayneFansForLife.
Angela Giarratana (1:12)
She's kind of the mod.
Lisa Gilroy (1:13)
I'm the mod.
Shayne Topp (1:15)
OK. OK.
Angela Giarratana (1:16)
OK.
Shayne Topp (1:17)
So you're very familiar with Reddit.
Lisa Gilroy (1:18)
Chat, I've made it to the top. I sat across from Shayne, AMA.
Angela Giarratana (1:28)
You don't use Reddit, though.
Lisa Gilroy (1:30)
Can you tell?
Angela Giarratana (1:31)
Because I don't either. I would never ask it anything.
Shayne Topp (1:34)
Yeah. OK.
Angela Giarratana (1:35)
Yeah. No, do you guys? You do.
Shayne Topp (1:36)
Well, I mean, if you Google stuff, you're going to like, Reddit might give you an answer.
Angela Giarratana (1:41)
But I'm saying people who use Reddit as a search engine. I find that not a lot of women do.
Lisa Gilroy (1:45)
Oh, I use it for like health stuff.
Angela Giarratana (1:47)
Oh, you do?
Lisa Gilroy (1:48)
Yeah. Because, you know, I love like anecdotal health diagnoses things. Okay.
Shayne Topp (1:53)
Yeah. That's like the most common way to use Reddit, right? It's like, hey, I have this like weird thing or like- Say what it is.
I don't have a specific thing, but or like-
Angela Giarratana (2:04)
My penis is just like so small, it feels a little weird.
Lisa Gilroy (2:06)
Yeah, exactly.
Shayne Topp (2:07)
Where I've used it is like my cat is being weird in this very specific way.
Lisa Gilroy (2:11)
But my cat's penis is actually too small.
Angela Giarratana (2:12)
Not mine.
Lisa Gilroy (2:13)
My penis is too big to carry up and down the stairs.
Shayne Topp (2:17)
It hurts as I go up stairs. But you will have a very specific issue and then you'll go to Reddit and someone seven years earlier had the very same specific thing. Yeah.
Lisa Gilroy (2:26)
Then all the comments are just like, hey, how did it go for this? Then they never respond.
Angela Giarratana (2:30)
That is true for a lot of people.
Lisa Gilroy (2:31)
They're absolutely diseased.
Angela Giarratana (2:33)
It's everybody just arguing.
Shayne Topp (2:34)
You can get a lot of good answers though. All right. Well, we've got a bunch of wild stories here, and I feel like it's going to get pretty wild in this episode.
Lisa Gilroy (2:43)
I hope these are all bear attacks.
Angela Giarratana (2:46)
Help, I've been attacked by a bear.
Lisa Gilroy (2:47)
Yes, r slash attacked by a bear, help, help, help.
Shayne Topp (2:50)
It's very possible. Okay.
Lisa Gilroy (2:52)
When you say wild, that's what I'm thinking. Like wilderness?
Shayne Topp (2:55)
Yes. I don't know if it's wilderness.
SPEAKER_4 (2:58)
Okay.
Lisa Gilroy (2:58)
So it's not wild, so let's not call it that.
SPEAKER_4 (3:01)
What is it?
Lisa Gilroy (3:01)
R slash mildly inconvenient?
Shayne Topp (3:04)
That is a subreddit.
SPEAKER_4 (3:05)
Okay.
Angela Giarratana (3:06)
We need animals in the wild to call it wild. I get it.
Shayne Topp (3:09)
Well, maybe there'll be some animals.
Angela Giarratana (3:10)
Okay.
Shayne Topp (3:11)
We'll swap in some stories. Before we get into it, a new chair, by the way.
Lisa Gilroy (3:16)
How's it feel?
Shayne Topp (3:17)
It feels really good. The other chair was just a little too deep, so I was leaning back. This one's really nice and fits me perfectly.
Lisa Gilroy (3:24)
Look at you.
