Joining us tonight, my name is Adam, and my name's Matt. Now, pull up a tombstone, or settle into your casket, and get comfortable, because this is GraveYard Tales. All right, everybody, here we are again. Matt, how you doing tonight, brother?
Matt Rudolph (0:54)
Well, I'm not doing too bad at all, man.
Adam Ballinger (0:59)
Do you need a Tweetment or something?
Matt Rudolph (1:00)
I need a Tweetment, yeah.
Adam Ballinger (1:03)
That just reminded me of Looney Tunes for some reason. Tweety Bird, and anyway.
Before we get too far off track with Looney Tunes talk, we want to say go over to patreon.com/graveyardtales, sign up to become a patron. We have multiple different levels, and no matter what level you choose, we have hundreds of episodes in the back catalog that you will get. So, if it's a dark week, and you need more of our sultry southern voices, then go check out Patreon, and we got a bunch of back episodes that you can check out, and all our levels get our sultry southern voice episodes.
Matt Rudolph (1:46)
Man, Amanda sent me a video earlier today because you said this. That was from 1991 at a local high school here, and it was talking about the Nashville accent. And I'm listening to these kids talk that are probably my age now.
And I thought, do I sound like this?
Adam Ballinger (2:09)
Yes. I don't even know what it sounds like.
Matt Rudolph (2:14)
Yeah, the answer is yes. You do.
Adam Ballinger (2:20)
But no matter what level you choose, you will get a bonus episode a week, and access to our whole back catalog. Then, if you move up to five or ten, you get the ad-free audio and video versions of our main episodes. Then, if you move up to ten, you get all of that, plus you get our second show SideQuest. And our SideQuest is basically what it sounds. It's the SideQuest to GraveYard Tales. It's whatever me and Matt want to talk about that week.
I enjoy telling Matt historical stories or stories of people surviving things that they shouldn't. And tonight is both.
Matt Rudolph (3:04)
Oh, great.
Adam Ballinger (3:06)
It's a historical survival thing. Awesome.
I like to make Matt sweat while I'm telling him these stories.
Matt Rudolph (3:12)
I'm telling you, man, he can make my...
He can make it pucker. I'm telling you. That's what that is. With these stories. So no other way, but he can do it with the stories.
Adam Ballinger (3:24)
Don't lie, Matt. But anyway, if you like that kind of stuff, go over there and check out SideQuest. Matt likes to play trivia games and he brings some stories too. He's messed with me to get me back and told me about one of my biggest fears. So love it. We've eaten gross jelly beans, drank weird sodas. We've had guests early on. So go over there, check it out, patreon.com/graveyardtales. There's something over there for everybody and anything you want is over there. You can also scan that QR code that's right above my head and it'll take you directly over there.
We are now, if you listen to us on Spotify, we are now posting our videos to Spotify. We've been doing it for several weeks now.
Just want to say it's another step on post day, so it's not going to post immediately with the main episode audio. But give me an hour to a couple hours to get it loaded, you know, in there and Spotify to validate it and everything. And then you can get our videos on Spotify as well. Yeah. And I know we've had, so far, we've had good reactions to it. I like the reactions that still they're like, I didn't know that's what y'all look like, or had your voice backwards.
Matt Rudolph (4:51)
Yeah.
Adam Ballinger (4:52)
After all these years. Yeah. My favorite one this week was, has anybody ever told Matt he looks like Aaron from Ghost Adventures? That was my favorite comment this week. No, no one's ever told me that. No. Well, now you can say they have.
I had somebody, Matt, on something nobody's ever told me. I was getting Zen at the gas station, and this lady, probably your age, maybe a little bit older, but maybe your age, leans over to me and goes, anybody ever told you you look like Eminem?
And I went, no, that's a new one.
Matt Rudolph (5:28)
Yeah.
Adam Ballinger (5:28)
She's like, well, you do. I'm like, okay, I'll take it. And she's like, yeah, he's handsome. You could take it. I'm like, okay.
And then everybody, like I've told Ashley, I've told Michael, they don't see it either, but it's just the beard and the baseball cap. That's all it is.
