The Union Screaming House

Getting a good night's sleep can start well before your head hits that pillow.

I take my nighttime routine very seriously. I need a cup of tea, honey.

SPEAKER_2 (0:09)

I gotta go upstairs.

Ash Kelley (0:11)

I gotta do my skincare routine. And then I need to lay in bed and maybe do a little meditation on my Hatch alarm clock. The Hatch sleep clock is a different kind of sleep tracker, designed to help make sense of sleep without adding more stress. Contactless tracking works right from the nightstand. No ring or wristband required, nothing to wear, and nothing to recharge. Honestly, checking in on my sleep score all the time and wondering if I slept well enough kind of makes like sleeping an anxiety-inducing activity for me.

So I love that Hatch sleep clock skips sleep scores and score chasing. Instead, it provides personalized insights and recommendations to help uncover what supports better sleep. See how different bedtime routines, including meditation, audiobooks, sound baths, or sleep sounds, affect sleep over time and learn what works best for you. Try Hatch sleep clock, the sleep tracker designed to get you to sleep, now available on hatch.co and Amazon.

Alaina Urquhart (2:17)

Hey, Weirdos, I'm Alaina. I'm Ash. And this is Morbid.

Yeah.

SPEAKER_2 (2:38)

It's a rainy day.

Alaina Urquhart (2:40)

It is. It's gloomy.

SPEAKER_2 (2:41)

Yeah, we did. Can we say what we did last night?

Ash Kelley (2:45)

When does this come out?

Alaina Urquhart (2:46)

I don't know. No, probably not.

Ash Kelley (2:47)

I don't think we can. We did something spooky last night. It was really fun.

Alaina Urquhart (2:50)

You'll find out about it. It just isn't.

Ash Kelley (2:51)

Yeah, we'll talk about it. Oh, yeah. It's not for our feed anyways. But it was a fun, spooky thing that we did.

Alaina Urquhart (2:56)

And we got to go to Salem.

Ash Kelley (2:58)

Yeah, we got to go to Salem in October, which was actually insane. Like to like it wasn't that busy.

Alaina Urquhart (3:03)

No, because it was at night.

Ash Kelley (3:04)

It was on a weeknight.

Alaina Urquhart (3:06)

But now I want to go back. I know.

Ash Kelley (3:07)

But it also took so fucking long to get there.

Alaina Urquhart (3:10)

The traffic was crazy.

Ash Kelley (3:11)

I don't want to go back for a little bit.

Alaina Urquhart (3:12)

But the Salem air.

Ash Kelley (3:14)

Oh, it was beautiful. Especially when we finished and we were walking back to the car. Oh, it was just so it smelled so crisp.

Alaina Urquhart (3:23)

It did.

SPEAKER_2 (3:23)

And it felt good on the skin.

Ash Kelley (3:25)

It did. I think it de-aged me.

Alaina Urquhart (3:28)

Yeah, I think all of that.

Ash Kelley (3:29)

Yeah, for sure. It was gorgeous. And then I woke up today because yesterday was like sunny.

Today, today, gorgeous, overcast, raining, cold. I think I could thrive in Seattle.

Alaina Urquhart (3:43)

Yeah, I think I could.

Ash Kelley (3:43)

Or like Oregon's pretty rainy too, right?

Alaina Urquhart (3:47)

I think so.

Ash Kelley (3:47)

I think they're like right next to each other. That's Geography of Ash.

I think I could thrive in a place like that or forks.

Alaina Urquhart (3:54)

Oh yeah.

Ash Kelley (3:55)

It'd be perfect.

Alaina Urquhart (3:57)

Anytime I watch the Twilight movies, I'm like, yeah. I could do that.

Ash Kelley (4:00)

I would love it.

Alaina Urquhart (4:01)

Yeah, I could definitely do that.
