The Ultimate RB Rankings for 2026 Fantasy Football

The ultimate, yes, ultimate top 50 running back rankings for the entire season. Hayden and I put our rankings together here. Put pencil into pen to lock down our takes, to lock down our numbers, to lock down these ball carriers, and to let you know where you need to select them. And we cover some news topics here. Obviously, the Josh Jacobs and MarShawn Lloyd situation. On top of it, Zach Charbonneau being on the pup list for four games, what that means for my guy, Jadarian Price, and so, so, so much more. Yes, Hayden, this is the week that we turn rankings we have in pencil, into pen, our final positional rankings across every single group. And today, we start off with, you know, what makes the world go around the running backs.

Yep, this is going to be our half PPR rankings, combine them together. But we're going to talk about the differences between Josh and I. And we're obviously going to get to the Josh Jacobs news. There's a bunch of like little tiny news about roster cut downs and some preseason stuff that we'll get to. But like you said, pens down. It's time to turn the answers in.

It is. And this is the positional group that won leagues last year. And many are drafting as if it'll win leagues again this year with so many of these names going in the top two rounds. So you got to get it right. And hopefully we're here to help you get it right. All right.
We kick things off with Jahmyr Gibbs. As both of our running back ones, there's a conversation of who is the running back one this year Hayden. But the goal of drafting backs this high is to eclipse that 20 or 21 points per game for the entire season. And then the 25 games in which Jahmyr Gibbs has played 60 percent or more of his team snaps, he has averaged over 20 points per game.

25.1 half PBR points in the eight games. Montgomery has either missed or played under 25 percent snaps. Even like Isaiah Pacheco is banged up right now. I think Drew Petsing has been a rock solid run game play caller as well. That's going to be the new offensive coordinator. They've kind of overhauled the offensive line, but I think it's in a better spot this year than it was at least this last season. I think Jahmyr Gibbs is not only the clear one on one. I think he's one of the best one on ones we've had in a very, very long time. I don't think that's even a consideration. Gibbs vs. Bijan, I think that he would actually be in his own tier by himself, and if I could choose where I would be drafting from this year, it would be the one on one. If you mean Jahmyr Gibbs, you guys could figure the rest out yourselves.

Yeah, I mean, the lines are favored in 14 games heading into this season. And by some rhetoric, the lines have the easiest rushing schedule in the league this year. As you said, they're moving Penelisul to left tackle. Blake Miller is the new right tackle out of round one. Tate Ratledge in year two. Cade Mays at center, hopefully, if he's healthy.
And then the spike tweak potential of Jahmyr Gibbs, just something else because of his game breaking ability to run away. So for all those factors, I think you and I are in unison here, that he is the first player off the board. And that brings us to the second player in Bijan Robinson, a player who's also averaged 20 points per game has reached 15 touches and he played 79 percent of the snaps last year for the Falcons.

So basically we have Brian Robinson in for Tyler Algier. Tyler Algier was actually stealing some of the goal line work from Bijan Robinson. It was 11 to 10 on inside the five yard line carries. But by the end of the season, Bijan was absolutely going crazy in full PPR. He closes the gap with Jahmyr Gibbs because Bijan Robinson was at RB2 and reception at 4.6 in the last four games of the season. He almost had six receptions per game. I think that the floor is pretty high. I would just say that the difference between the Falcons and the Lions this year could be substantial. I think that's the reason why there's a legit tear break where I would put Bijan with the next couple of running backs that we're getting to rather than Jahmyr Gibbs. But his floor, he's way too dominant to give a player that...
