The Taylor Swift & Chris Hansen Situation Is Crazy - H3 Show #310

Ethan Klein (0:02)

Hello, everybody, this is Ethan Cotter, coming out here, wow, from Los Angeles, California. That's right, it's the H3 show, we're here. Top of the new week, sponsored today by Monarch. Thank you so much to our wonderful sponsors. The camera is so close to me today, Dan.

Was it always this close? I mean, it's fine, it's just tripping me out.

AB (0:26)

It was not this close.

Ethan Klein (0:27)

It was right in my face.

SPEAKER_3 (0:30)

Is the key still on?

Ethan Klein (0:32)

It's fine, it's just, Dan is going to...

AB (0:35)

Okay.

Ethan Klein (0:35)

I feel like it's being offensive to me.

AB (0:38)

Yeah, I don't like it.

Zach (0:39)

Jupiter ascending.

Ethan Klein (0:40)

It sounds as if it's trying to start business with me.

Zach (0:42)

Makes me angry.

Ethan Klein (0:42)

Yeah. Dan moved it back one inch.

It has been, Dan says it's been this close. Okay, let's do the show.

Zach (0:52)

Dan, I fear you.

Ethan Klein (0:53)

So today, we've got all kinds of really big stories here. Taylor Swift and Chris Hansen have gotten into it. The most unexpected feud in human history, really. I was going to say internet history, but it transcends that.

SPEAKER_3 (1:08)

You seem pretty confident on the internet.

Ethan Klein (1:11)

People are making lots of goofs about me, which is completely normal, about me being late. Well, guess what, haters, it's 11... 13!

We are here. Oh yeah, the funeral home mix up, we got an update. Philly Dee's quoting Mike from PA. Frat leaders are arrested over a hazing incident involving really gross stuff. And we're going to fight over Taylor Swift's songs. Apparently, she dropped three new songs and everybody's...

Olivia (1:43)

Four, right?

Ethan Klein (1:44)

Oh, four, yeah, four.

Dan (1:45)

You listened to them, right?

Ethan Klein (1:46)

Yes, I did. I listened to them. And lots of other fun stuff. Let's just jump right into it and say, I don't get this. I don't understand the joke. I don't think it's funny. Obviously, I'm Nathan in this, right?

So who's she meant to be? Here, I'll play that.

Olivia (2:03)

I don't have anything to deceive you on. Of course, I'm not deceiving you.

Sam (2:07)

I'm engaging with you as a human being.

Hila Klein (2:12)

Why would I deceive you?

Olivia (2:15)

There's no, there's no reason for me to do that.

Sam (2:22)

Okay.

Ethan Klein (2:25)

You still think he wants, there's, this is a romantic chemistry.

Olivia (2:28)

I don't think it's romantic. I think it's sexual. Those are two different things.

Ethan Klein (2:32)

Or I guess sexual. To me, I guess.

Zach (2:34)

There is nudity in the movie, so.

Zach (2:35)

Graphic nudity. We shall see.

Olivia (2:37)

Who's to say they don't become a throuple?

Ethan Klein (2:41)

What would be crazy? You just see Nathan's like hog just going in, just hardcore.

SPEAKER_11 (2:45)

Stop, what?

Ethan Klein (2:48)

I mean, you'd be, that would be unexpected, right?

Olivia (2:50)

Going in.

SPEAKER_11 (2:51)

Yeah, it would be.

AB (2:51)

You'd be like, oh my god, this is avant-garde.

Ethan Klein (2:57)

I don't know, to me, it's not, I don't see any sexual chemistry. I think he's like, just completely befuddled by her.

Olivia (3:04)

I think he's bewildered.

Ethan Klein (3:06)

He's being outclassed.

Olivia (3:07)

And I think he's like, whoa, I kind of like that.

Ethan Klein (3:10)

No, I don't think he likes it. I think he's uncomfortable, which is unusual for him.

Olivia (3:15)

He's so close to her. He's not leaning away, he's leaning in.

Zach (3:19)

They may be private parts.

Ethan Klein (3:21)

This is a heavy moment. He wants her to level with him.

Olivia (3:24)

He's curious about her.

AB (3:25)

I had no idea who this was when this first came out.

Zach (3:29)

Which one, the girl?

Ethan Klein (3:29)

The girl.

AB (3:30)

And I'm like, what the fuck is going on?

Ethan Klein (3:31)

Oh, I'm a big, I've been a big fan of hers. Her story is super interesting. There's a really good Netflix documentary about it.

It's fucking insane. She's insane.

AB (3:41)

I got to check it out.

Ethan Klein (3:41)

Yeah.

AB (3:42)

I looked into it a little bit after this, but.

Ethan Klein (3:43)

She's like the big, well, one of the biggest fraudsters in Silicon Valley history.

AB (3:50)

Yeah.

Ethan Klein (3:50)

And she, well, she was like a big deal because she was like the first woman, unicorn business owner. And she, everybody was just in on her business, which was you take one drop of blood apparently, and you can do like a thousand different tests.
