Hi, Lee, welcome to our show.
Lee C. Camp (0:01)
Hello, Savannah, welcome to our show.
Savannah Logg (0:03)
I'm loving your shirt today.
Lee C. Camp (0:05)
How about that? I think this is from, I know this is from Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
SPEAKER_3 (0:13)
Literally the same.
Savannah Logg (0:15)
If you are not watching on video, now might be a good time.
Lee C. Camp (0:18)
That's right.
Savannah Logg (0:19)
To go on Spotify or YouTube and check out our sick shirts that were sent to us by Cindy.
Lee C. Camp (0:25)
I'm very excited. Thank you, Cindy.
Savannah Logg (0:27)
Literally, it was a Christmas day over here.
Lee C. Camp (0:29)
I had this idea and it was poo-pooed by the people around me. No one will send us shirts from their towns. And I said, yes, they will. And I will love it.
And we will love hearing more about their towns.
Savannah Logg (0:41)
Yes. It was so good. And it came with just a great postcard. And I have been to Lancaster.
SPEAKER_3 (0:48)
Yes.
Savannah Logg (0:48)
And you have also been.
SPEAKER_3 (0:49)
I have. Yes. What did you get into there?
Lee C. Camp (0:51)
I don't remember.
SPEAKER_3 (0:53)
Okay.
Lee C. Camp (0:53)
I think I was through there on a family vacation when I was a kid.
And then some years ago, I was doing a guest lecture at Messiah College and I went through Lancaster again. Lancaster.
Savannah Logg (1:05)
Lancaster.
SPEAKER_3 (1:06)
Lancaster.
Savannah Logg (1:07)
I think that's how you're supposed to say it. Lancaster. But it is also my inclination to say Lancaster, but it's Lancaster.
Lee C. Camp (1:14)
Lancaster.
Savannah Logg (1:15)
According to your shirt.
Lee C. Camp (1:16)
According to my shirt. Lancaster.
Savannah Logg (1:18)
Yes. Cindy, let us know if that's wrong. But thank you, thank you, thank you for these shirts. And actually, it's like so comfy. I'm just loving it. It's better than I could have dreamed.
Thank you, Cindy.
Lee C. Camp (1:28)
Yes.
Savannah Logg (1:30)
Lee, what is the latest?
Lee C. Camp (1:32)
We just, several of us from the No Small Endeavor team just went to the UK and we just got back about seven days ago, six days ago. And it was wonderful. It was a great trip.
Savannah Logg (1:42)
You had how many interviews?
Lee C. Camp (1:44)
We did six interviews. We did four in Oxford, one in Edinburgh, and one on the Isle of Skye, which is like on the edge of the earth. It is on the edge of the continent.
And it was just wonderful.
Savannah Logg (1:55)
Was it inspiring?
Lee C. Camp (1:57)
Yes. I mean, a lot of really smart, lovely human beings we talked to along the way. So yeah, it was great.
Savannah Logg (2:03)
Cause you're kind of a little nervous for a second that perhaps you couldn't keep up. You said it on the show.
Lee C. Camp (2:09)
Well, I don't think I said I couldn't keep up. I think I said I was intimidated.
Of course, those are close cousins perhaps.
Savannah Logg (2:17)
So true.
Lee C. Camp (2:18)
Yeah, but in any case. But no, it was great. It was a great time.
Savannah Logg (2:23)
Yeah, I love it. I'm so happy. Literally, next time you will catch me there.
Dear Subtext World, if there are any guests that you can think of that are in London, Paris, Vienna, or actually Australia sounds fun too. Just keep me in the loop. Just Switzerland would be magical.
Lee C. Camp (2:45)
Switzerland, I haven't been to in a long time, and I would like to get to Switzerland.
Savannah Logg (2:49)
Yes.
Lee C. Camp (2:50)
Zurich.
Savannah Logg (2:51)
And Switzerland is so expensive.
Lee C. Camp (2:53)
Yeah. Oh, we need some sponsors and some good guests to go see.
Savannah Logg (2:57)
Yes. Lord, hear our prayers. Amen.
Lee C. Camp (3:00)
What have you been reading or listening to?
Savannah Logg (3:03)
Watching or listening to you. I read a book this week called A Beginner's Guide to Dying. Have you heard of that before?
Okay. So it was written by this guy in the UK while he was dying from like a stage four cancer. And he had a couple of articles go viral in his like local newspaper that ended up going viral globally. And then he turned those articles into a book. And then at the end of this book, this is the reason I bought it, besides just being interested in hearing how someone experienced their own death. The end of the book was kind of like tips and tricks for people who know people who are dying. And he was like, this is a list of do's and don'ts in my experience. And it was very practical and helpful.
