**Lee C. Camp** (0:00)
Savannah Locke, how in the world are you today?
**Savannah Locke** (0:02)
I'm doing great, Lee.
**Lee C. Camp** (0:03)
How are you feeling? I'm good. So it's gotten hot here in Nashville, Tennessee.
**Savannah Locke** (0:08)
Heat wave.
**Lee C. Camp** (0:08)
It's very hot.
**Savannah Locke** (0:10)
I'm feeling it. Today, I saw someone running at 11 a.m., and I thought, couldn't be me.
**Lee C. Camp** (0:17)
Are you still running?
**Savannah Locke** (0:18)
I've been doing some mileage, but no. I'm not a heat person.
**Lee C. Camp** (0:23)
Yeah, heat's tough. Heat's tough.
**Savannah Locke** (0:26)
I probably should just join the Y to be in air conditioning.
**Lee C. Camp** (0:29)
You could do that, yep.
**Savannah Locke** (0:30)
Hey, I was actually thinking about this the other day. You know how you were doing your little mini experiment?
**Lee C. Camp** (0:35)
With the YMCA, yes.
**Savannah Locke** (0:37)
Has that kept going?
**Lee C. Camp** (0:39)
Well, so the mini experiment was getting up early and going to the Y first thing in the morning, and we got knocked off of that with winter storm fern.
**Savannah Locke** (0:52)
Oh, yeah.
**Lee C. Camp** (0:52)
And so it didn't last very long, but actually I have just restarted that, and I love this new iteration of it that I'm hoping I can stick with for a good long while.
**Savannah Locke** (1:02)
Isn't it like 5.3 or 6 in the morning?
**Lee C. Camp** (1:05)
Yeah, I'm trying to be out the door by 6.00, so hopefully exercising. And exercising while fasting, while fasted still is really interesting.
**Savannah Locke** (1:16)
Yikes.
**Lee C. Camp** (1:17)
Yeah.
**Savannah Locke** (1:17)
That's dark. Lee, are you reading or watching or listening to anything recently?
**Lee C. Camp** (1:22)
Let's see. We've been watching Unconditional.
**Savannah Locke** (1:26)
I have never heard of this.
**Lee C. Camp** (1:28)
It's about an Israeli mother whose daughter is arrested and put in prison in Russia. And it's a fascinating.
**Savannah Locke** (1:41)
You're an Apple TV hound.
**Lee C. Camp** (1:42)
It's fascinating what's going on, who's telling the truth, who's a liar, who's the scoundrel, layers of scoundrel.
**Savannah Locke** (1:52)
Scoundrelism.
**Lee C. Camp** (1:53)
Scoundrelism, layers of scoundrelness.
**Savannah Locke** (1:58)
And you can quote you on that.
**Lee C. Camp** (1:59)
Yeah, you can quote me on that.
**Savannah Locke** (2:00)
You can quote me on that. I love that. You are such an Apple TV person, which actually makes sense for you.
**Lee C. Camp** (2:05)
It does it?
**Savannah Locke** (2:06)
It's sort of like the intellectual streamer.
**Lee C. Camp** (2:09)
Apple TV is, huh. I do, yeah, we've definitely enjoyed a lot of shows on there.
**Savannah Locke** (2:15)
I love it.
**Lee C. Camp** (2:16)
That and Brit Box. We love a good Brit Box mystery.
**Savannah Locke** (2:22)
Do you watch Father Brown?
**Lee C. Camp** (2:25)
No, that's a different version of Brit Box.
**Savannah Locke** (2:30)
Okay, so tell me, what is it? I actually love Father Brown, but go ahead, tell me.
**Lee C. Camp** (2:35)
Well, like Luther or some of the ones that are a bit more gritty. Gritty, the ones that have teeth. The ones that have teeth, yes.
**Savannah Locke** (2:49)
I get that. Well, I absolutely love that, Lee. Lately, I've been listening to...
You'll love this, actually, Podcasts on Physics.
**Lee C. Camp** (3:00)
Oh, really?
**Savannah Locke** (3:02)
You know things about physics.
**Lee C. Camp** (3:03)
Is that what it's called, Podcasts on Physics?
**Savannah Locke** (3:04)
No, I've just been listening to podcasts.
**Lee C. Camp** (3:06)
Oh, podcasts on physics.
**Savannah Locke** (3:08)
On or about physics.
**Lee C. Camp** (3:09)
Good for you, isn't it amazing? The world is so freaking amazing.
**Savannah Locke** (3:15)
And it's kind of scary. It's scary.
Okay, Lee. So I was listening to an episode today that was basically saying, you know how, like, a law of physics is that energy can't be created or destroyed. So the episode that I was listening to today was talking about how that is true for our observable world or testable world. But the nuance to that is dark energy, which is the energy that keeps on appearing as the universe expands. So as the universe expands, which it's doing at an accelerating pace at all times, energy is filling that up, up that space. And that energy that's filling up that space is called dark energy. So in that sense, energy is created.
But not like on Earth. Do you know what I mean? That's what they were saying in this episode.
