Welcome to Motley Fool Money, the podcast that is hopefully either gonna get a bailout or launch our own grocery store. Watch this space. I'm Scott Phillips from the Motley Fool, here's Andrew Page, because of course he is. Who else would have birthed the behemoth, the juggernaut, the absolute leviathan, that is not only Australia's premier online investment club, but the potential everything app for everything you could possibly want or do right around the world and beyond?

Mr. Page, are we?

Andrew Page (0:32)

Actually, the way things are going, it's not a million miles off.

Scott Phillips (0:36)

See, we all do this where it's going. You're watching the website, next thing you want to take over the world, it's here. It's how we long get started, let's be honest.

Andrew Page (0:43)

The power just goes to your head, like, I can do that now.

Scott Phillips (0:48)

strongman.com, the everything app, I like it.

Andrew Page (0:51)

That's the new sort of flex, it's like, I don't do it almost, it's sort of like, I could, the website that just stay like doesn't like add a thousand things because you just have to wish it into existence now.

Scott Phillips (1:05)

So true. So true.

SPEAKER_3 (1:06)

It's the flex, so yeah.

Scott Phillips (1:08)

Just for fun, and this is this is horribly inappropriate and unprofessional, but just for fun, I think I've talked about it. Yes, you've got my curiosity. I think I've talked about it earlier, and there's no commercial benefit here, by the way, so I think I'm okay doing it.

I'll show you before we record, I created a gardening planting calendar website. It's called thegardenhand.com.au. So it's not a plug, there's no money in it. I just did it to your point, because I could. It's just literally like, what if I could do that? Because I went to a veggie garden, and I was like, what should I plant now? So I could look it up, I could probably just build that. So I did. I built a public-facing website with a mailing list and all sorts of fun stuff.

SPEAKER_3 (1:45)

So can we give out the URL because I got it off you, and it was just sort of like, yeah, go on, give me a look.

SPEAKER_4 (1:49)

And it's like, holy crap, you did that?

Scott Phillips (1:52)

Well, no, I didn't. That's the thing. Like, AI is, AI got lots of people who want you to have you. No, no, no.

Andrew Page (1:58)

I'm going to stop you right there. You've got to own it, man. You've got to own it.

SPEAKER_4 (2:02)

Those prompts don't write themselves.

Andrew Page (2:05)

They almost do.

They almost do. But not now. Not now they don't.

Scott Phillips (2:10)

In fact, they're so, I'm not going to go into the boring Chet YouTube BT stuff, but there's two modes. There's chat and there's work mode. And so chat, you say, here's what I want to do. And you kind of go, how should I do that? So I'll use work. Okay, can you give me a prompt? Yeah, here's the prompt. I'm literally supposed to write themselves, to be honest. And this is like, so for all of AI's challenges and problems and risks and all the things, right? It's all true. It's all real. It's all fine.

It's just a really nice example of what you can do. And I don't, I use Versel and GitHub and Resend. I don't know what those things are. I now know they exist. I know that repo apparently is a repository. So I learned a new word this week.

It's just fun to only just because we talk about it all the time. I know we do almost every episode for the last couple of months, but like seriously from an idea of-

Andrew Page (2:55)

We're an hour past our slated start time because of that. That's also true.

Scott Phillips (3:00)

Our listeners don't know that, but yes, this would come to you if it was in real time, you'd be listening to this at 5.3 rather than 4.30. Happy dollar savings by the way, everybody who's listening.

Yeah, just a really, just from nothing. It was just an idea of like, I wonder what I could plant and when I could probably look up a website or grab a book or do something. So I could make it myself. So, and I want to have my own list of things I wanted, like here are things I chose to plant or I want to plant rather than everyone's list. So it's a curated list and it's not hard. I'm sure there are other options out there. I just did it because I could, and it was just fun to do.
